LUMAJANG, desapenari.id – Pengadilan Negeri Lumajang akhirnya menjatuhkan vonis kepada lima terdakwa kasus pengedaran ganja yang ditanam di lereng Gunung Semeru. Sidang pembacaan putusan digelar pada Selasa (24/6/2025), dengan hasil yang mengejutkan karena hukuman yang diberikan jauh lebih berat dari tuntutan jaksa.
Kelima terdakwa tersebut adalah Tembul, Suroso, Hariyanto, Somar, dan Verinando. Mereka terlibat dalam jaringan peredaran ganja yang dibudidayakan di Dusun Pusungduwur, Desa Argosari, Kecamatan Senduro, Kabupaten Lumajang, Jawa Timur.
Sebelumnya, Jaksa Penuntut Umum (JPU) Prasetyo Pristanto menuntut empat terdakwa—Tembul, Somar, Suroso, dan Hariyanto—dengan hukuman 6 tahun penjara dan denda Rp 800 juta. Sementara itu, Verinando hanya dituntut 4 tahun penjara dengan denda yang sama, yakni Rp 800 juta.

Majelis hakim menjatuhkan vonis 20 tahun penjara plus denda Rp 1 miliar kepada Somar dan Tembul, membuat keduanya harus menerima kenyataan pahit. Sementara itu, hakim juga memvonis Hariyanto dan Suroso dengan hukuman 11 tahun penjara, meski memberlakukan denda berbeda—hakim mengenakan denda Rp 1 miliar untuk Hariyanto dan Rp 800 juta untuk Suroso.
