JAKARTA, desapenari.id – Pasca putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK) yang memisahkan pemilu nasional dan daerah mulai 2029, DPR RI dan pemerintah masih terus mendalami implikasi putusan tersebut. Berbagai opsi mulai mengemuka, mulai dari pembentukan pansus hingga revisi UU Pemilu secara besar-besaran dengan metode omnibus law. Lantas, langkah apa yang akan DPR ambil?
DPR Belum Ambil Sikap Resmi, Kajian Masih Berjalan
Wakil Ketua DPR RI Sufmi Dasco Ahmad mengungkapkan, pimpinan DPR belum bisa memberikan pernyataan resmi karena kajian mendalam terhadap putusan MK masih berlangsung. “Kita akan mengkaji dahulu putusan itu,” tegas Dasco.
Menurutnya, DPR baru akan memberikan respons detail setelah analisis komprehensif selesai dilakukan. “Saya belum bisa jawab karena kita belum mengkaji. Kalau sudah selesai, semua pertanyaan pasti terjawab. Putusan ini baru keluar kemarin, jadi butuh waktu,” jelas Dasco.

Kemendagri Juga Pelajari Dampak Putusan MK
Di sisi pemerintah, Kementerian Dalam Negeri (Kemendagri) turut mempelajari implikasi teknis dan regulasi dari putusan MK Nomor 135/PUU-XXII/2024. “Kami di Kemendagri harus memahami dulu substansi putusan ini secara menyeluruh,” ujar Dirjen Politik dan Pemerintahan Umum Kemendagri, Bahtiar, Sabtu (28/6/2025).
Ia menegaskan, Kemendagri akan meninjau dampak putusan terhadap UU Pemilu, UU Pilkada, dan UU Pemerintahan Daerah, termasuk penyesuaian jadwal dan pembiayaan. “Komunikasi intensif akan kami lakukan, baik di internal pemerintah maupun dengan DPR,” tambah Bahtiar
Wacana revisi UU Pemilu pun mencuat setelah putusan MK. Aria Bima dari Fraksi PDI-P mengusulkan pembentukan pansus lintas komisi untuk membahas revisi UU Pemilu. Menurutnya, pembahasan lewat panitia kerja (panja) saja tidak cukup mengingat kompleksitas dampak putusan ini.
“Pembahasan RUU ini sebaiknya tidak hanya lewat panja, tapi perlu pansus lintas komisi karena persoalannya sangat kompleks,” tegas Aria dalam siaran pers, Minggu (29/6/2025).
Ia mengingatkan, pemisahan jadwal pemilu berpotensi menyebabkan kekosongan jabatan kepala daerah dan anggota DPRD. “Perpanjangan masa jabatan DPRD bukan perkara mudah. Kita harus duduk bersama dengan semua pemangku kepentingan,” ujarnya.
Aria menekankan, revisi UU Pemilu harus dilakukan secara menyeluruh untuk menghindari masalah baru. “Apakah perlu pasal peralihan atau norma baru, itu harus dipikirkan matang-matang. Ini menyangkut desain besar demokrasi kita,” jelasnya.
Wakil Ketua Badan Legislasi (Baleg) DPR Ahmad Doli Kurnia menyatakan, putusan MK berpotensi memicu revisi UU Pemilu dengan skema omnibus law. Menurutnya, cakupan revisi sangat luas dan melibatkan beberapa UU sekaligus.
*”Putusan ini secara tidak langsung meminta kita merevisi UU secara *omnibus law,” ujar Doli dalam diskusi di Jakarta, Sabtu (28/6/2025).
Politikus Golkar itu menyebut setidaknya empat UU yang perlu direvisi:
- UU Pemilu
- UU Pilkada
- UU MD3
- UU Pemerintahan Daerah
“Ini konsekuensi logis dari putusan MK. Kita tidak bisa hanya menyentuh satu UU,” tegas Doli.
Sebelumnya, MK memutuskan untuk memisahkan pelaksanaan pemilu nasional dan daerah mulai 2029. Pemilu nasional hanya untuk memilih anggota DPR, DPD, dan presiden/wakil presiden. Sementara pemilu daerah (DPRD dan pilkada) akan digelar terpisah.
Wakil Ketua MK Saldi Isra menjelaskan, pertimbangan utama adalah belum adanya revisi UU Pemilu sejak putusan MK No. 55/PUU-XVII/2019. “Kami menegaskan bahwa semua model pemilu yang sudah berjalan tetap konstitusional,” ujar Saldi di Jakarta, Kamis (26/6/2025).
MK mengusulkan agar pemerintah menyelenggarakan pilkada dan pileg DPRD paling lambat dua tahun enam bulan setelah pelantikan presiden dan anggota DPR/DPD. “Ini untuk memastikan kesinambungan demokrasi,” pungkas Saldi.
Dengan kompleksnya dampak putusan ini, DPR dan pemerintah masih perlu berkoordinasi intensif. Revisi UU, pembentukan pansus, atau bahkan omnibus law bisa menjadi opsi. Satu hal yang pasti: perubahan besar sedang menanti sistem pemilu Indonesia.
