Jakarta desapenar.id – Wakil Ketua MPR RI Hidayat Nur Wahid (HNW) menyampaikan harapannya agar kunjungan Presiden Prabowo Subianto ke Arab Saudi tidak hanya membahas urusan haji, tetapi juga membawa misi penyelamatan kemanusiaan dan peradaban di Gaza, Palestina. Saat ini, Gaza tengah mengalami genosida yang memilukan, dan HNW menegaskan bahwa misi kemanusiaan ini sejalan dengan amanat konstitusi Indonesia, yakni mewujudkan ketertiban dunia berdasarkan kemerdekaan, perdamaian, dan keadilan sosial.
Dia menambahkan, Prabowo sebaiknya mengajak Arab Saudi serta negara-negara lain untuk segera membuka akses bantuan kemanusiaan, termasuk makanan, obat-obatan, dan kebutuhan mendesak lainnya. “Semoga Presiden Prabowo bisa mendorong Saudi dan negara lain untuk serius menghentikan perang dan genosida di Gaza,” tegas HNW di Jakarta, Rabu.
Kekhawatiran atas Korban Sipil yang Terus Berjatuhan
HNW mengungkapkan keprihatinan mendalam atas terus meningkatnya korban jiwa di Gaza akibat serangan brutal tentara Israel. Dia menyerukan komunitas internasional, baik lembaga pemerintah maupun organisasi masyarakat, untuk bersatu dan mengambil tindakan nyata guna menghentikan pembantaian warga sipil, termasuk di lokasi penyaluran bantuan kemanusiaan.

Menurutnya, sistem distribusi bantuan yang dikendalikan oleh militer Israel dan AS justru menjadi alat pembunuhan massal. “Mereka gagal menjalankan fungsi kemanusiaan, malah menjadikannya sarana genosida,” ujarnya. Dia mendesak PBB, Liga Arab, dan Organisasi Kerja Sama Islam (OKI) untuk segera bertindak.
Dukungan untuk Sistem Bantuan yang Lebih Adil
HNW mendukung penuh seruan 170 organisasi sipil, termasuk Amnesty International, yang menuntut penghentian sistem bantuan kemanusiaan model AS-Israel. “Saya mendukung penuh upaya mengembalikan mekanisme bantuan di bawah PBB,” katanya. Dia mendesak PBB untuk segera menghidupkan kembali UNRWA (Badan Bantuan PBB untuk Pengungsi Palestina) setelah Israel membekukannya, karena lembaga ini sudah terbukti sukses mendistribusikan bantuan.
