Jakarta, Desapenari.id – Komisi I DPR RI bakal menggelar uji kelayakan dan kepatutan terhadap 24 calon Duta Besar Luar Biasa Berkuasa Penuh (LBBP) RI untuk negara sahabat dan organisasi internasional. Target Penyelesaian Pekan Ini
Wakil Ketua Komisi I DPR, Sukamta, menegaskan bahwa pihaknya menargetkan uji kelayakan rampung pekan ini. “Kami ingin proses ini selesai dalam waktu cepat agar pekan depan sudah bisa diputuskan,” ujarnya saat berbincang dengan Antara di Jakarta, Jumat (4/7).
Dia menjelaskan, Komisi I DPR segera bergerak setelah Surat Presiden (Surpres) berisi nama-nama calon dubes dibacakan dalam Rapat Paripurna DPR pada Kamis (3/7). Dalam rapat tersebut, Komisi I langsung mendapat mandat untuk memeriksa kelayakan para calon.

Fokus pada Kualitas dan Kompetensi
Sukamta menekankan, Komisi I tidak main-main dalam menilai kualitas calon. “Kami benar-benar memerhatikan kompetensi, pengalaman, dan pemahaman mereka tentang politik luar negeri Indonesia,” jelasnya.
Menurutnya, hal-hal tersebut menjadi kunci penilaian. Sebab, seorang dubes harus mampu menjalankan diplomasi dengan cerdas dan memahami betul arah kebijakan Indonesia di kancah global.
Dari 24 calon yang diuji, 12 di antaranya ditujukan untuk mengisi posisi strategis yang masih kosong. Beberapa di antaranya termasuk:

- Dubes RI untuk Korea Utara
- Perwakilan Tetap RI di PBB Jenewa dan New York
- Dubes RI untuk Meksiko, Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Libya, Madagaskar, Myanmar, dan Polandia
Sukamta memastikan, Komisi I bekerja cepat tanpa mengabaikan ketelitian. “Kami tidak mau terburu-buru, tapi juga tidak boleh lambat karena posisi-posisi ini sangat krusial,” tegasnya.
Dia menambahkan, seluruh tahapan uji kelayakan akan berjalan transparan. “Masyarakat perlu tahu, kami memilih yang terbaik untuk mewakili Indonesia,” ucap Sukamta.
Sebelumnya, Pimpinan DPR RI telah menerima Surpres dari Presiden pada 1 Juli 2025. DPR RI membahas Surpres tersebut dalam Rapat Paripurna Ke-22 Masa Persidangan IV 2024-2025, kemudian menugaskan Komisi I untuk mengevaluasi kelayakan para calon.
Komisi I berharap, para calon yang lolos nantinya bukan hanya memenuhi syarat administratif, tetapi juga punya visi kuat dalam memperjuangkan kepentingan Indonesia. “Mereka harus bisa menjadi wajah Indonesia yang tegas dan diplomasinya berwibawa,” tandas Sukamta.
DPR menggiatkan proses uji kelayakan di akhir pekan ini demi memastikan Indonesia segera mendapatkan perwakilan diplomatik terbaik untuk berbagai posisi strategis.
