Jakarta (Desapenari.id) – Pembalap andalan Ducati Lenovo, Marc Marquez, secara jujur mengakui bahwa dirinya melakukan kesalahan yang hampir berujung tabrakan dengan rivalnya, Marco Bezzecchi dari Pertamina VR46 Racing Team. Insiden berbahaya ini terjadi pada balapan seri GP Hungaria di sirkuit Balaton Park, Minggu (24/8) malam WIB.
Ketika balapan memasuki tikungan kedua di lap pertama, Marc secara agresif menerobos dari garis dalam dan tanpa sengaja membuat kontak dengan motor Bezzecchi. Selanjutnya, Marc merasa sangat beruntung karena berhasil menghindari tabrakan hebat, terlebih lagi karena Bezzecchi tiba-tiba mengurangi kecepatannya dengan drastis di titik tersebut.
“Saya jelas sangat beruntung tidak terjatuh usai manuver gegabah terhadap Bezzecchi itu,” ujar Marc Marquez yang dikutip langsung dari laman resmi Ducati, Senin. “Saya sama sekali tidak mengira dia akan melambat sebanyak itu di tikungan kedua. Ini sepenuhnya kesalahan saya,” tambuhnya dengan sportif.
Akibat insiden tersebut, Marc sempat terlempar ke posisi ketiga. Namun, pembalap berdarah Spanyol ini tidak tinggal diam dan langsung membalasnya. Dengan semangat juang yang tinggi, ia hanya membutuhkan waktu sepuluh lap untuk merebut kembali posisi puncaknya. Pada lap ke-11, Marc akhirnya berhasil menyalip Bezzecchi yang berusaha mati-matian mempertahankan posisinya.

Akhirnya, Marc berhasil menuntaskan balapan sebagai pemenang mutlak setelah melalui 26 lap penuh dramatis. Kemenangan ini sekaligus mencatatkan namanya dalam sejarah sebagai pembalap pertama yang berhasil menaklukkan sirkuit Balaton Park.
Menurut analisis Marc, kunci kemenangannya terletak pada strategi pemilihan ban yang brilian. Timnya memutuskan untuk menggunakan ban medium, yang justru memberikannya kecepatan yang sangat konsisten dan stabil dari awal hingga akhir balapan.
“Pilihan ban kami ternyata benar-benar membuat perbedaan yang signifikan,” ungkap pembalap bernomor ikonik 93 itu. “Saya menyadari bahwa dengan ban medium, saya justru mampu mempertahankan kecepatan putaran yang sama dengan para pesaing yang memakai ban soft,” jelasnya dengan percaya diri.
Kemenangan gemilang ini semakin memperkokoh dominasi Marc di puncak klasemen sementara MotoGP. Saat ini, ia telah mengoleksi total 455 poin yang ia dapatkan dari sepuluh kemenangan GP dan 12 kali naik podium sepanjang musim ini.
