MEDAN, Desapenari.id – Kereta Api (KA) U 54 Sribilah Utama yang setia melayani rute Kota Medan-Rantau Prapat justru menjadi sasaran empuk aksi premanisme. Tanpa disangka-sangka, sekelompok Orang Tidak Dikenal (OTK) dengan teganya melempari kereta penumpang ini di perlintasan kilometer 73+5/6, Kabupaten Labuhanbatu Utara, Sumatera Utara, pada Rabu (8/10/2025). Akibat aksi brutal ini, sebuah tragedi pilu pun terjadi: seorang bocah lelaki berusia 5 tahun harus terluka akibat serpihan kaca yang beterbangan. Bayangkan, suasana malam yang seharusnya tenang tiba-tiba berubah menjadi chaos!
Menurut penjelasan resmi, Manager Humas KAI Divre I Sumut, M As’ad Habibuddin, dengan tegas memaparkan kronologi kejadian. Sebagai informasi, insiden pelemparan keji ini terjadi sekitar pukul 20.30 WIB. “Pada kenyataannya, lemparan batu itu langsung menghantam kaca kereta api penumpang hingga pecah berantakan. Selanjutnya, serpihan kacanya yang tajam pun melukai kaki sang korban kecil,” ungkap As’ad dengan nada prihatin ketika kami hubungi, Kamis (9/10/2025). Dengan kata lain, aksi nekat segelintir orang ini benar-benar mengancam nyawa penumpang yang tidak bersalah.
Tanpa menunggu lama, setelah kejadian tersebut, petugas KAI yang sigap langsung bergerak cepat. Mereka segera memberikan pertolongan pertama kepada penumpang kecil yang terluka itu. Bahkan, petugas dengan penuh tanggung jawab langsung membawanya ke pos kesehatan stasiun terdekat untuk perawatan lebih lanjut. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa keselamatan penumpang adalah prioritas utama bagi PT KAI.
Di sisi lain, As’ad juga menambahkan upaya pengejaran yang dilakukan pihaknya. Meskipun demikian, petugas keamanan KAI yang menyisir lokasi kejadian ternyata belum membuahkan hasil yang memuaskan. Oleh karena itu, pihak PT KAI mengambil langkah tegas. “Kami akan melaporkan peristiwa kriminal ini secara resmi ke kepolisian,” tegasnya dengan suara berwibawa. Dengan demikian, pelaku yang bertanggung jawab atas insiden ini tidak akan dibiarkan berlari begitu saja.
Lebih jauh, As’ad menekankan komitmen perusahaan untuk menindak tegas para pelaku. Sebagai contoh, langkah hukum akan benar-benar diambil terhadap siapa pun yang terbukti melakukan aksi pelemparan tersebut. “Perlu ditekankan, ini bukanlah pelanggaran biasa, melainkan perbuatan berbahaya yang jelas-jelas melanggar hukum dan mengancam keselamatan ratusan penumpang,” ujarnya dengan penuh keyakinan. Artinya, aksi vandalisme seperti ini tidak akan ditolerir dan harus dihapuskan dari lingkungan perkeretaapian Indonesia.
Sebagai bentuk komitmen jangka panjang, KAI Divre I Sumut pun berinisiatif meningkatkan sistem pengamanan di sepanjang jalur kereta api. Mereka berencana memperkuat sinergi dengan TNI/Polri, melakukan patroli rutin di titik-titik rawan, mengadakan sosialisasi ke sekolah-sekolah dan masyarakat, serta memasang CCTV di lokasi strategis. Dengan begitu, diharapkan aksi serupa dapat dicegah di masa depan. Tak lupa, PT KAI juga mengajak seluruh masyarakat untuk bersama-sama menjaga keselamatan perjalanan kereta api. “Kami yakin, dukungan dan kesadaran kolektif sangat dibutuhkan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang aman, tertib, dan bebas dari aksi pelemparan,” tutup As’ad penuh harap.
Yang membuat kita miris, insiden pelemparan di Labura ini ternyata bukanlah yang pertama! Faktanya, ini merupakan kejadian kedua hanya dalam waktu tiga hari! Sebelumnya, pada Selasa (7/10/2025), kereta api pengangkut minyak sawit mentah (CPO) juga menjadi korban kejahatan serupa oleh OTK di perlintasan kilometer 02+000 antara Stasiun Kisaran dan Stasiun Hengelo, Kabupaten Asahan. Dalam insiden sebelumnya itu, asisten masinis, Rizky Ananda, bahkan harus mengalami luka cukup serius di bagian wajahnya. Bayangkan, betapa berbahayanya aksi lempar batu ini bagi para pekerja kereta dan penumpang! Oleh karena itu, mari kita bersama-sama mendukung PT KAI dan aparat untuk menghentikan lingkaran kekerasan ini sebelum korban berikutnya berjatuhan.
