Desapenari.id – Sebuah insiden mengerikan mengguncang kawasan Pasirhayam, Cianjur, pada Sabtu (1/11/2025), di mana sebuah kecelakaan tragis tidak hanya merenggut lima kendaraan yang hangus terbakar, tetapi juga menciptakan kepanikan massal. Lebih lanjut, pantauan di lokasi kejadian pada Minggu (2/11/2025) pagi masih memperlihatkan bekas-bekas kehancuran yang sangat jelas, sehingga secara alami memancing rasa penasaran dan menarik perhatian besar dari warga serta pengguna jalan yang melintas. Menurut informasi yang beredar, kecelakaan lalu lintas dahsyat ini awalnya melibatkan sebuah truk tangki BBM dan sebuah truk tronton pengangkut air mineral yang bertubrukan.
Akibat tabrakan keras tersebut, truk tangki BBM itu pun terguling dengan hebat dan kemudian pecah, sehingga secara tragis menumpahkan ribuan liter bahan bakar minyak yang sangat mudah terbakar ke seluruh permukaan jalan. Tak butuh waktu lama, tumpahan bahan bakar yang sangat berbahaya itu akhirnya memicu sebuah ledakan awal yang sangat keras, yang kemudian langsung berubah menjadi kobaran api raksasa dan menyulut lokasi kejadian menjadi lautan fire. Lebih parahnya lagi, amukan api yang tak terkendali ini dengan cepat melahap satu mobil patroli polisi, sebuah truk derek, dan sebuah sepeda motor milik seorang pengojek hingga tidak tersisa. Selain itu, kobaran api ganas itu juga merambat dengan cepat ke sebuah ruko dan sebuah pos polisi, yang akhirnya turut dilalap si jago merah dan mengalami kehancuran total.
Salah seorang saksi mata, Imas (44), dengan wajah masih diliputi kekagetan menuturkan bahwa ia dan keluarganya sempat mendengar suara ledakan yang begitu keras dan menggemparkan. “Kaca rumah saya sampai bergetar hebat semalam. Saya sempat kaget dan bingung ada apa, dan setelah saya lihat warga pada ramai-ramai berkerumun, ternyata ada sebuah kejadian kebakaran besar di jalan,” ujar Imas saat diwawancarai di lokasi kejadian, Minggu pagi. Kesaksian serupa juga datang dari Riansyah (21), seorang pemuda yang mengaku dengan jelas mendengar bunyi ledakan hingga tiga kali berturut-turut, sebelum akhirnya ia menyaksikan sendiri kobaran api menjulang tinggi di kejauhan. “Awalnya saya dan tetangga mengira itu suara kebakaran biasa, namun setelah didekati, ternyata sumbernya adalah sebuah truk tangki BBM yang habis tabrakan dan sudah hangus total,” ucap Riansyah sambil menggambarkan kepanikan saat itu.
Kepala Unit 1 Damkar Cianjur, Zenal Abidin, dalam konferensi pers singkatnya di lokasi kejadian pada hari Minggu, dengan tegas menjelaskan bahwa titik awal kebakaran hebat ini memang dipicu oleh ledakan dari truk tangki BBM yang terguling dan pecah tersebut. “Kami menemukan fakta bahwa truk tangki tersebut dalam kondisi terisi penuh dengan BBM, sehingga bahan bakarnya sangat mudah sekali memicu kebakaran yang sangat luas dan sulit dikendalikan,” ujar Zenal dengan wajah serius. Lebih lanjut, ia menambahkan bahwa api yang berkobar dengan dahsyatnya itu tidak hanya berhasil menghanguskan kendaraan-kendaraan yang terlibat langsung dalam kecelakaan awal, tetapi juga membakar sejumlah kendaraan lain yang tidak bersalah, termasuk sebuah pos polisi, sebuah rumah warga, dan sebuah bangunan ruko yang berada di pinggir jalan. “Upaya pemadaman yang kami lakukan sempat mengalami kendala teknis yang cukup serius, sehingga kami terpaksa harus menerjunkan bantuan armada tambahan dari luar kota untuk bisa memblokir dan memadamkan api sepenuhnya,” imbuh Zenal menutup penjelasannya. Akibatnya, proses pemadaman pun memakan waktu yang cukup lama sebelum akhirnya situasi dapat benar-benar dikendalikan dan diamankan oleh petugas.
