UNGARAN, Desapenari.id – Sebuah niat sederhana untuk memanen jengkol justru berakhir dalam tragedi memilukan. Basuwi (58), seorang warga Desa Watuagung, Kecamatan Tuntang, Kabupaten Semarang, harus meregang nyawa setelah ia terjatuh dari pohon jengkol pada Rabu (26/11/2025). Akibatnya, rencana panennya pun sirna seketika.
Menurut penuturan Kapolsek Jambu Polres Semarang, Iptu Supanjar Edy Waluyo, sebenarnya Basuwi berangkat ke Kebun di Desa Gondoriyo, Kecamatan Jambu, dengan maksud memanen jengkol milik warga lainnya. “Kemudian, seorang warga yang sedang melintas di lokasi itulah yang menemukan korban dalam kondisi tak bernyawa,” jelas Supanjar dalam keterangan tertulisnya. Selanjutnya, penemuan ini langsung dilaporkan kepada ketua RW setempat. Tak lama berselang, ketua RW tersebut segera menyampaikan laporan tersebut ke Polsek Jambu untuk ditindaklanjuti.
Selain itu, Supanjar juga mengungkapkan fakta menarik tentang profil almarhum. Ternyata, Basuwi selama ini telah dikenal oleh banyak warga sebagai seorang pemanen hasil kebun yang handal di wilayah Gondoriyo. Pada hari naas tersebut, ia memulai aktivitas memanennya sekitar pukul 13.00 WIB. Dengan penuh semangat, ia pun memutuskan untuk memanjat pohon jengkol yang tingginya mencapai sekitar tujuh meter. Sayangnya, malang tak dapat ditolak, korban akhirnya ditemukan dalam kondisi meninggal dunia tiga jam kemudian, tepatnya sekitar pukul 16.00 WIB.
Begitu mendapat laporan, anggota Polsek Jambu langsung bergerak cepat. Mereka berkoordinasi dengan tim medis puskesmas untuk segera mendatangi lokasi kejadian. Di TKP, tim gabungan ini melakukan pemeriksaan awal terhadap jenazah. Setelah itu, korban dibawa ke RSUD dr. Gunawan Mangunkusumo Ambarawa untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut.
Sebagai kesimpulan, hasil pemeriksaan medis di RSUD Ambarawa dengan tegas menyatakan bahwa korban meninggal akibat kecelakaan murni, yaitu terjatuh dari pohon jengkol. Akhirnya, sesuai dengan permintaan keluarga yang berduka, jenazah almarhum Basuwi langsung diserahkan tanpa melalui proses autopsi. Proses penyerahan ini turut disertai dengan surat pernyataan resmi dari keluarga yang menolak dilakukannya autopsi, sehingga kasus ini pun dinyatakan telah selesai.
