Pekanbaru, Desapenari.id — Sebuah bencana hebat tiba-tiba mengguncang Desa Batu Ampar, Kecamatan Kemuning, Kabupaten Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), Riau, pada Jumat (2/1/2026). Peristiwa mencekam ini berawal dari kebocoran pipa gas milik PT. Trans Gas Indonesia (TGI) yang akhirnya memicu ledakan dahsyat dan kebakaran luar biasa. Bahkan, api liar tersebut baru berhasil dijinakkan setelah bergemuruh selama 14 jam penuh! Kepala Pelaksana BPBD Inhil, R. Arliansyah, kemudian mengonfirmasi bahwa kobaran api akhirnya padam sekitar pukul 05.00 WIB, Sabtu (3/1/2026).
Awalnya, semburan gas bertekanan tinggi langsung menyulut api raksasa yang menyembur hingga ketinggian 15 meter! Tim pemadam kebakaran pun sempat berusaha mati-matian memadamkannya dengan menyiramkan air dari armada mereka. Namun, upaya heroik ini ternyata kurang maksimal karena semburan gasnya terlalu kuat. Arliansyah menjelaskan, “Pada akhirnya, kami tidak bisa memadamkan api secara langsung. Justru, penutupan saluran pipa oleh pihak pengelola lah yang membuat api pelan-pelan habis sendiri setelah gas yang tersisa benar-benar terkuras.” Sementara itu, tim damkar berfokus memadamkan rumah-rumah warga di sekitarnya yang ikut terdampak jilatan api. Ledakan yang terjadi sebelumnya bahkan meninggalkan bukti fisik yang mengerikan: sebuah lubang besar menganga di pipa gas dengan kedalaman sekitar 4 hingga 5 meter!
Kronologi Kejadian yang Bikin Merinding
Mari kita telusuri lebih detail kronologi kejadian yang begitu mencekam ini. Semua bermula sekitar pukul 16.15 WIB, ketika masyarakat setempat dikejutkan oleh suara ledakan keras yang mengguncang wilayah mereka. Suara menggelegar itu diduga kuat berasal dari pipa gas tanam milik PT TGI yang meledak. Tak butuh waktu lama, hanya sekejap kemudian, api raksasa langsung menyembur hebat ke angkasa dan dengan cepat mulai menghanguskan segala area di sekeliling pipa gas tersebut.
Menyikapi situasi darurat ini, petugas kepolisian dari Polsek Kemuning dan Polres Inhil langsung bergerak cepat. Mereka segera mengamankan lokasi kejadian dan memberikan imbauan keras kepada warga agar tidak mendekati zona bahaya. Hal ini tentu mereka lakukan karena sangat memahami besarnya risiko paparan gas dan jilatan api yang masih aktif. Untungnya, jarak pipa gas dengan permukiman warga terdekat sekitar 500 meter, sehingga tidak ada korban jiwa ataupun warga yang terluka dalam insiden mengerikan ini. Namun demikian, pihak kepolisian bersama BPBD terus memantau lokasi secara ketat dan memastikan situasi benar-benar kondusif setelah api akhirnya padam.
Kepala Bidang Humas Polda Riau, Kombes Anom Karibianto, kemudian menegaskan titik terang penyebab musibah ini. Ia menyatakan dengan tegas bahwa kebocoran pada pipa gas lah yang menjadi akar penyebab ledakan dan kebakaran dahsyat tersebut. “Kami sudah melakukan penyekatan arus gas secara total, dan kami mohon masyarakat untuk tetap bersabar sampai api benar-benar padam sepenuhnya,” kata Anom meyakinkan publik.
