Desapenari.id – Sebuah kabar duka yang memilukan kembali datang dari bumi Papua. Jayapura diguncang oleh laporan tragis tentang gugurnya seorang prajurit TNI dalam insiden berdarah di Distrik Yuguru, Kabupaten Nduga, Papua Pegunungan. Lebih detailnya, insiden penembakan maut ini terjadi tepat pada hari Kamis, 8 Januari 2026.
Korban dari insiden yang menyayat hati ini adalah Praka Satrio Tino Taopan. Perlu diketahui, beliau merupakan anggota Yonif 100/Prajurit Setia yang dengan gagah berani menjalankan tugas sebagai bagian dari Satuan Tugas Pengamanan Perbatasan.
Di sisi lain, kabar tentang gugurnya Praka Satrio Tino Taopan ini akhirnya mendapatkan konfirmasi pilu dari pihak keluarga. Sebagai buktinya, salah satu anggota keluarga di Kota Jayapura, Yani Taopan, dengan suara bergetar membenarkan tragedi tersebut. “Itu adik saya, dia meninggal ditembak di Nduga kemarin sore,” ungkap Yani dengan lirih ketika dikonfirmasi pada Jumat, 9 Januari 2026.
Selanjutnya, Yani juga menyampaikan kondisi keluarga yang sedang dilanda duka mendalam. Saat ini, pihak keluarga hanya bisa menunggu dengan hati remuk redam untuk memulangkan sang pahlawan ke daerah asal di Kupang, Nusa Tenggara Timur. “Kita (keluarga) sudah dapat kabar (meninggal) dan rencana dipulangkan ke Kupang untuk dimakamkan,” ujarnya lagi, melukiskan betapa beratnya beban yang mereka tanggung.
Di lain pihak, kelompok OPM justru secara terbuka mengklaim bertanggung jawab atas aksi mematikan ini. Juru Bicara TPNPB OPM, Sebby Sambom, melalui siaran persnya yang diterima media pada Jumat siang, dengan tegas menyatakan bahwa penembakan terhadap Praka Satrio dilakukan oleh pasukan mereka. Lebih spesifik, aksi ini mereka lakukan melalui pasukan TPNPB Kodap III Ndugama Derakma di bawah pimpinan Mayor Yibet Gwijangge.
Tak hanya itu, Sebby Sambom juga menegaskan klaim tanggung jawab tersebut. “Penyerangan itu dilakukan oleh pasukan TPNPB Kodap III Ndugama Derakma di bawah pimpinan Mayor Yibet Gwijangge. Kami TPNPB Kodap lll Ndugama Derakma bertanggung jawab atas aksi tersebut,” tegasnya dalam pernyataan tertulis itu.
Selanjutnya, kelompok tersebut bahkan mengklaim keberhasilan lebih lanjut dari serangan itu. Pasukan TPNPB mengaku berhasil merampas satu pucuk senjata laras panjang beserta lima magazen yang terisi penuh peluru. Selain itu, sebuah HT atau alat komunikasi satelit juga diklaim berhasil mereka ambil. “Semua alat yang disita oleh TPNPB Kodap III Ndugama Derakma telah berada di tangan Mayor Yibet Gwijangge dan pasukannya di Batalyon Yuguru,” papar Sebby Sambom lebih lanjut, seolah ingin menunjukkan ‘bukti’ kemenangan mereka.
Sementara itu, suasana haru dan teksa justru sangat kontras dengan keheningan dari pihak TNI. Hingga Jumat siang, belum ada satu pun keterangan resmi yang dikeluarkan oleh institusi TNI. Pangdam XVII/Cenderawasih, Mayjen TNI Amrin Ibrahim, yang sempat dikonfirmasi oleh awak media, juga belum memberikan penjelasan apa pun terkait insiden penembakan yang merenggut nyawa prajuritnya ini. Kondisi ini tentu saja meninggalkan banyak tanda tanya dan ruang kosong bagi publik yang menunggu klarifikasi.
Dari seluruh rangkaian peristiwa ini, kita bisa melihat betapa kompleks dan runcingnya situasi keamanan di Nduga. Di satu sisi, sebuah keluarga di Kupang harus menanggung beban kehilangan seorang anak, adik, dan saudara yang gugur dalam menjalankan tugas negara. Praka Satrio Tino Taopan, sang prajurit setia, kini hanya tinggal kenangan. Di sisi lain, klaim dari kelompok bersenjata yang disertai pengakuan perampasan alutsista menambah daftar panjang insiden kekerasan di tanah Papua. Oleh karena itu, keheningan respon resmi TNI menjadi perhatian yang kritis. Masyarakat pun bertanya-tanya, bagaimana kelanjutan dari kasus ini? Apakah jenazah almarhum sudah dalam perjalanan pulang ke Kupang? Dan yang paling penting, langkah apa yang akan diambil untuk mencegah pertumpahan darah serupa terulang kembali di masa depan?
