Banyuwangi (Desapenari.id) – PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) Cabang Ketapang, Banyuwangi, Jawa Timur, mengonfirmasi bahwa layanan penyeberangan di rute Ketapang-Gilimanuk telah beroperasi normal sejak Sabtu (20/7). Selain itu, kondisi jalan utama di sekitar pelabuhan juga sudah lancar setelah sempat mengalami kepadatan.
Sekretaris PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry, Shelvy Arifin, menyatakan bahwa antrean kendaraan umum dan pribadi sudah terurai sejak Sabtu pagi sekitar pukul 08.00 WIB. “Mulai pagi tadi, antrean kendaraan penumpang sudah tidak terlihat. Yang tersisa hanya kendaraan logistik yang menunggu giliran di area Dermaga Bulusan. Proses bongkar muat di Pelabuhan Ketapang berjalan lancar, begitu juga dengan antrean di Pelabuhan Gilimanuk yang sudah membaik sejak semalam,” jelas Shelvy dalam keterangannya.
Evaluasi Keselamatan Jadi Penyebab Antrean Sebelumnya
Shelvy memaparkan bahwa antrean panjang yang sempat terjadi sebelumnya merupakan dampak dari langkah evaluasi dan pencegahan oleh otoritas regulator, dalam hal ini Direktorat Jenderal Perhubungan Laut melalui KSOP Kelas III Banyuwangi. “Kami sepenuhnya mendukung langkah ini untuk memastikan semua kapal memenuhi standar keselamatan, terutama setelah insiden KMP Tunu Pratama Jaya pada 2 Juli lalu,” tegasnya.
Proses inspeksi dan sertifikasi kelayakan kapal dilakukan secara ketat oleh tim Kementerian Perhubungan. “Ini langkah penting untuk menjamin keamanan penumpang dan awak kapal. Kami tidak ingin ada kompromi dalam hal keselamatan,” tambah Shelvy.
Operasional Kapal Kembali Intensif
Sementara itu, General Manager PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry Cabang Ketapang Banyuwangi, Yannes Kurniawan, menyebutkan bahwa pihaknya kini menerapkan pengaturan muatan lebih ketat untuk memastikan keamanan pelayaran. “Kami melakukan penimbangan dan pengecekan muatan secara detail sebelum kapal berangkat,” ujarnya.
Hingga Sabtu siang, sebanyak 23 kapal telah beroperasi bergantian di lintasan Ketapang-Gilimanuk dengan pola delapan trip per hari. “Kami mendistribusikan kapal secara merata di Dermaga MB dan LCM untuk mempercepat arus penyeberangan,” jelas Yannes.
Selain itu, ASDP juga memaksimalkan penggunaan kapal perbantuan seperti KMP Liputan XII untuk mengangkut kendaraan barang yang sempat tertahan di Bulusan. “Kami prioritaskan logistik agar distribusi barang tetap lancar,” imbuhnya.
Yannes mengapresiasi koordinasi cepat antara ASDP, Kemenhub, dan KSOP dalam menangani antrean.
Di sisi lain, para pengguna jasa penyeberangan juga merasakan perbedaan signifikan. “Hari ini sudah jauh lebih lancar. Kemarin sempat antre lama, tapi sekarang sudah normal lagi,” kata Andi, seorang sopir truk yang kerap melintasi rute ini.
ASDP Pastikan Layanan Optimal ke Depan
Shelvy menegaskan bahwa ASDP berkomitmen menjaga kualitas layanan dengan terus mematuhi protokol keselamatan. “Kami tidak ingin ada lagi insiden yang mengganggu kenyamanan penumpang. “Kami akan terus pantau perkembangan dan siap mengambil langkah cepat jika ada kendala,” tutup Shelvy.

Per Sabtu sore, antrean kendaraan barang di Dermaga Bulusan sudah menipis. “Kami proyeksikan dalam 1-2 hari ke depan semua backlog bisa teratasi,” kata Yannes.
Dengan demikian, aktivitas penyeberangan Ketapang-Gilimanuk dipastikan akan semakin stabil dalam waktu dekat. “Masyarakat tidak perlu khawatir, layanan kami tetap berjalan 24 jam dengan pengawasan ketat,” pungkasnya.
