BANGKALAN, Desapenari.id – Sebuah musibah yang benar-benar memilukan hati terjadi di Bangkalan. Akhirnya, terungkap sudah kronologi enam santri yang meregang nyawa di kubangan bekas galian C di Desa Parseh, Kecamatan Socah. Lebih menyedihkan lagi, tragedi ini justru dipicu oleh aksi heroik tolong-menolong sesama teman. Bermula dari satu santri yang dilaporkan tenggelam di lokasi terlarang itu.
Selanjutnya, kita perlu mengenal siapa saja korban jiwa dalam insiden mengenaskan ini. Identitas keenam santri yang wafat tersebut adalah Louvin (9), Rosyid Ainul Yakin (10), Reynand Azka (9), dan Salman (9) yang ternyata berasal dari Surabaya. Sementara itu, dua korban lainnya merupakan Moh Nasirudin Adrai (8) asal Kabupaten Sampang dan Muhammad Akhtar Muzain Ainul Izzi (7) yang merupakan anak asli Bangkalan. Bayangkan, usia mereka masih sangat belia!
Lalu, bagaimana cerita detilnya bisa terjadi? Kepala Pelaksana Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Kabupaten Bangkalan, M Zainul Qomar, dengan jelas memaparkan urutan kejadiannya. Menurut penuturannya, duka ini berawal ketika seorang santri menyadari bahwa beberapa temannya hilang. Kemudian, santri tersebut spontan bergegas mencari dan akhirnya melihat satu santri lainnya sedang tenggelam dan berjuang di air.
Tanpa pikir panjang lagi, aksi solidaritas yang justru berakhir petaka pun dimulai. Lima santri lainnya yang mengetahui hal itu langsung turun tangan dan mencoba membantu menyelamatkan temannya yang sedang kesusahan. Sayangnya, bukannya berhasil, malahan kelima santri pemberani itu ikut terseret dan akhirnya tenggelam juga di kubangan yang sama. Alhasil, enam nyawa melayang dalam sekejap.
Setelah kejadian mengerikan itu, suasana panik langsung menyelimuti lokasi. Santri yang menyaksikan kejadian tersebut langsung berlari ketakutan untuk melaporkan hal ini kepada ustaz dan para pengurus pondok. Tak lama kemudian, ustaz dan pengurus segera menuju lokasi dengan cepat dan berusaha mengevakuasi semua korban. Bahkan, selain enam korban jiwa, salah satu pengurus pondok pun harus dilarikan ke rumah sakit karena mengalami syok berat setelah melihat langsung santri-santrinya terbujang kaku.
Tidak berhenti di situ, proses evakuasi yang dilakukan pun berlangsung sangat dramatis dan menegangkan. Pasalnya, lokasi bekas galian C tersebut dikenal cukup terjal dan sulit dijangkau oleh kendaraan biasa. Akibatnya, satu per satu jasad korban terpaksa diboncengkan menggunakan sepeda motor untuk bisa dibawa dengan cepat ke puskesmas terdekat. “Satu per satu anak dibawa ke puskesmas dengan memakai sepeda motor oleh pengasuh pondok secara bergantian,” ucap dia menggambarkan kepiluan saat itu.
Sebelumnya, ternyata musibah ini sebenarnya bisa saja dicegah. Salah satu santri senior, Kholil, mengungkapkan sebuah fakta yang membuat kita semua semakin miris. Rupanya, jauh sebelum kejadian naas ini, seluruh santri sudah diberikan larangan keras untuk tidak bermain di dekat bekas galian C yang lokasinya berdekatan dengan wisata Bukit Jaddih. Lokasi itu sudah dikenal sangat berbahaya.
Selain itu, kubangan bekas galian itu memang kondisinya sangat mengkhawatirkan. Lokasinya dipenuhi air hingga membentuk seperti danau yang kedalamannya cukup menakutkan. “Sejak awal sudah diberikan larangan agar tidak mendekati area kubangan itu,” tegas Kholil menegaskan kembali aturan yang sudah ada.
Akan tetapi, larangan dan peringatan keras itu diduga kuat tidak dihiraukan oleh keenam bocah malang tersebut. Mereka semua masih duduk di bangku kelas 1 dan 2 sekolah dasar. Diduga, mereka berenam justru nekat bermain di bekas galian C yang berbahaya itu tanpa sepengetahuan orang dewasa sama sekali. Akhirnya, mereka pun tenggelam tanpa ada yang menyadari.
