Bupati Batang, M Faiz Kurniawan, menegaskan bahwa capaian ini bukanlah akhir perjalanan. “Meraih WTP bukan sekadar target, melainkan tanggung jawab berkelanjutan yang harus kita jaga,” tegasnya melalui siaran pers, Selasa (10/6/2025).
Bukti Tata Kelola Keuangan yang Solid
Pekan lalu, BPK Perwakilan Jawa Tengah secara resmi menyerahkan opini WTP di Semarang. Pencapaian ini membuktikan bahwa sistem pengelolaan keuangan Pemkab Batang telah memenuhi standar ketat, mulai dari kesesuaian dengan prinsip akuntansi pemerintahan hingga transparansi informasi.
“Alhamdulillah, ini adalah hasil kerja keras seluruh jajaran pemda,” ungkap Faiz dengan bangga. Opini WTP sendiri merupakan penilaian tertinggi dari BPK, yang mensyaratkan laporan keuangan harus akurat, lengkap, dan terbuka.
Konsistensi yang Membawa Dampak Positif
Faiz menekankan bahwa sembilan tahun berturut-turut meraih WTP bukanlah hal mudah. “Ini membuktikan konsistensi kami dalam menjaga kredibilitas keuangan daerah,” jelasnya. Di tengah tingginya tuntutan transparansi, prestasi ini menjadi modal penting untuk mempercepat pembangunan.
Ia juga menegaskan komitmen Pemkab Batang untuk mempertahankan opini WTP. “Kami tak ingin ini sekadar janji politik. Ini adalah kebutuhan dasar pemerintahan yang baik,” tegasnya. Dengan keuangan yang transparan, kepercayaan masyarakat meningkat, dan program pembangunan bisa berjalan lebih optimal.
