Jeni menekankan, perempuan harus mengedepankan nalar, bukan hanya perasaan atau rasa kasihan. “Jika terus disakiti atau dimanfaatkan tanpa komitmen bersama, ambillah tindakan tegas,” ujarnya. Ia juga menambahkan bahwa keterampilan dan kemandirian menjadi kunci bertahan hidup.
Selain kasus ini, Bali beberapa kali mencatat pembunuhan serius, termasuk yang melibatkan anggota TNI. Jeni mengingatkan, selain waspada terhadap ancaman luar, kontrol diri juga penting. Marah boleh, tapi jangan sampai merugikan diri sendiri atau orang lain,” jelasnya.
Dengan melatih kebiasaan mengendalikan emosi, perempuan bisa lebih siap menghadapi dinamika hubungan. “Ini bukan soal tidak boleh marah, tapi bagaimana menyalurkannya dengan sehat,” pungkas Jeni.
