PATI, Desapenari.id – Kepanikan langsung menyelimuti warga Desa Sugiharjo, Kecamatan Pati, Kabupaten Pati. Pasalnya, sebuah wabah chikungunya yang ganas baru saja melanda dan telah menyerang puluhan warga hanya dalam hitungan pekan. Sebagai informasi, penyakit yang dibawa oleh gigitan nyamuk Aedes aegypti ini dengan cepat memicu demam tinggi, disusul nyeri sendi yang sangat hebat, munculnya ruam kulit, dan bahkan membuat penderitanya sama sekali tidak mampu berjalan.
Kemudian, berdasarkan informasi yang berhasil dihimpun dari warga setempat, kasus pertama kali mulai bermunculan sekitar satu bulan yang lalu. Lebih khusus lagi, wilayah Dukuh Gilis, yang meliputi RT 01, RT 02, dan RT 05, menjadi episentrum wabah ini. Yang lebih mengkhawatirkan, hingga detik ini, masyarakat masih terus melaporkan temuan warga baru yang terjangkit setiap harinya.
Di sisi lain, Sutrisno, seorang tokoh masyarakat Desa Sugiharjo, dengan tegas mengonfirmasi dampak parah dari wabah ini. Ia menjelaskan bahwa banyak warga kini terpaksa harus membatasi aktivitas mereka hanya di dalam rumah. Penyebabnya jelas: nyeri sendi hebat yang membuat tubuh terasa layu dan sangat sulit untuk digerakkan. “Pertama-tama, ciri awalnya selalu muncul ruam. Setelah itu, badan langsung layu, tidak bisa berjalan sama sekali selama beberapa hari. Baru setelah itu, ketika imunitas tubuh mulai menguat, penderita perlahan-lahan bisa bergerak lagi,” ujarnya pada Sabtu (22/11/2025).
Selain itu, Sutrisno juga menyoroti pola penularan yang sangat cepat dan mengkhawatirkan. Menurut pengamatannya, penularan justru paling sering terjadi dalam lingkup keluarga sendiri. Dengan kata lain, jika satu anggota keluarga sudah terjangkit, anggota keluarga lainnya biasanya akan ikut tertular. “Pada intinya, kalau dalam satu keluarga belum semua anggota kena, biasanya wabah di keluarga itu belum akan selesai,” tegasnya.
Sementara itu, dalam hal penanganan medis, sebagian warga yang mengalami demam tinggi sempat dirujuk ke rumah sakit dan berbagai fasilitas kesehatan. Akan tetapi, mayoritas penderita lainnya hanya memilih untuk melakukan perawatan mandiri di rumah masing-masing. Oleh karena itu, Sutris pun menyampaikan harapannya yang mendesak. Ia sangat berharap pemerintah dapat segera bergerak cepat memberikan penanganan yang konkret. Lebih lanjut, ia menilai bahwa warga saat ini benar-benar membutuhkan panduan yang jelas dan terarah, termasuk mengenai urgensi pelaksanaan fogging. “Dengan demikian, Dinkes harus segera memberi kami cara praktis untuk menguatkan imun atau cara jitu menanggulangi chikungunya. Ingat, ini sudah puluhan warga yang kena, bukan cuma satu atau dua orang!” serunya.
Di tempat terpisah, Supri, warga lainnya, mengungkapkan sebuah fakta yang semakin mencemaskan. Ternyata, ada satu warga yang dilaporkan meninggal dunia selama periode merebaknya kasus ini. Meskipun demikian, ia dengan jelas menegaskan bahwa belum ada kepastian apakah kematian tersebut memiliki kaitan langsung dengan chikungunya atau tidak. “Memang, gejala awalnya sangat mirip chikungunya, tapi untuk penyebab pastinya, kami sama sekali tidak tahu,” ujarnya dengan nada was-was.
Sementara itu, Widya, salah satu warga yang berhasil sembuh dari serangan chikungunya, dengan berani menceritakan pengalaman pribadinya yang cukup mengerikan. “Awalnya, saya hanya merasakan pusing hebat, lalu disusul linu di sekujur tubuh, dan badan terasa sangat lemas selama beberapa hari. Bahkan yang paling parah, saya sampai mengalami mencret-mencret,” ceritanya. Namun yang mengejutkan, Widya mengaku tidak pernah memeriksakan diri ke fasilitas kesehatan. Ia hanya mengandalkan obat yang dibeli sendiri di apotek untuk menyembuhkan penyakitnya.
Di lain pihak, Ketua RT 05 Dukuh Gilis, Arif Purwanto, secara tegas membenarkan adanya lonjakan kasus chikungunya yang sangat signifikan di wilayahnya. Menurutnya, dalam rentang sepuluh hari terakhir saja, puluhan warganya sudah dilaporkan terserang dengan gejala yang hampir serupa. “Yang unik, korban rata-rata adalah orang tua. Sementara itu, untuk kelompok anak-anak sejauh ini justru tidak ada yang tertular,” jelasnya. Oleh karena itu, ia pun turut berharap pemerintah segera turun tangan memberikan penanganan serius, mengingat jumlah kasus terus bertambah tanpa henti.
Menanggapi hal ini, Kepala Bidang Pencegahan dan Pengendalian Penyakit (P2P) Dinkes Kabupaten Pati, Salis Diah Rahmawati, akhirnya angkat bicara. Ia membenarkan bahwa pihaknya telah menerima laporan mengenai sekitar 20 warga yang menunjukkan gejala mirip chikungunya. “Memang, penyakit ini sudah mulai muncul sejak sebulan lalu dan kasusnya masih berlangsung hingga sekarang. Selain itu, warga juga telah menyampaikan permintaan untuk segera dilakukan tindakan, salah satunya adalah pelaksanaan fogging,” papar Salis.
Sebagai langkah nyata, Dinkes segera akan melakukan penyelidikan epidemiologi mendalam dan kunjungan lapangan untuk memetakan persebaran wabah. Bahkan, Puskesmas Pati 2 telah dijadwalkan untuk langsung turun ke lokasi pada Sabtu pagi guna melakukan pemeriksaan kesehatan menyeluruh sekaligus menggelar sosialisasi terkait chikungunya. Terakhir, Salis menegaskan sebuah poin krusial. Pemberantasan sarang nyamuk (PSN) harus diakui sebagai langkah paling efektif untuk mengendalikan penyebaran chikungunya. Khususnya, masyarakat harus secara aktif memastikan tidak ada lagi genangan air yang bisa dijadikan tempat berkembang biak nyamuk di sekitar rumah mereka.
