TEHERAN, Desapenari.id – Pemerintah Iran baru saja mengumumkan pembentukan Dewan Pertahanan Nasional pada Minggu (3/8/2025). Langkah strategis ini langsung mengguncang panggung politik internasional, terutama karena menjadi respons tegas Iran setelah perang sengit melawan Israel bulan Juni lalu.
Para pakar militer menyebut ini sebagai langkah pertahanan terbesar Iran sejak era Perang Iran-Irak tahun 1980-an. Dewan Keamanan Nasional Tertinggi Iran sendiri yang menyetujui pembentukan dewan baru ini, sekaligus menandai perubahan besar dalam struktur keamanan negara.
“Dewan Pertahanan Nasional akan memantau semua rencana pertahanan dan meningkatkan kekuatan militer secara terpusat,” tegas juru bicara Dewan Keamanan Nasional melalui siaran resmi IRIB.
Presiden Iran Masoud Pezeshkian langsung memimpin dewan ini. Tak tanggung-tanggung, anggota dewan terdiri dari pimpinan tiga cabang pemerintahan, panglima militer tertinggi, serta menteri-menteri kunci bidang pertahanan dan keamanan.
Alasan Dibentuknya Dewan: Ancaman Israel Masih Nyata
Keputusan ini muncul tepat sebulan setelah gencatan senjata mengakhiri perang 12 hari antara Iran dan Israel yang pecah pertengahan Juni 2025.
Krisis memanas ketika Israel melancarkan serangan udara besar-besaran ke Iran pada 13 Juni. AS turut serta dengan menghajar fasilitas nuklir dan markas militer vital Iran, termasuk pusat riset nuklir di Fordo, Isfahan, dan Natanz.
Israel beralasan serangan ini untuk mencegah pengembangan senjata nuklir Iran. Namun Teheran membantah keras dan menegaskan program nuklirnya hanya untuk tujuan damai.
Iran tak tinggal diam. Mereka membalas dengan meluncurkan ratusan rudal dan drone ke wilayah Israel, sekaligus menyerang pangkalan militer AS terbesar di Timur Tengah di Qatar.
Data resmi Iran mencatat lebih dari 1.000 warganya tewas dalam konflik singkat itu. Sementara Israel melaporkan 28 korban jiwa. Pertempuran akhirnya mereda 24 Juni setelah kedua belah pihak sepakat gencatan senjata.
Namun Komandan Tertinggi Militer Iran Amir Hatami mengingatkan: “Ancaman Israel belum berakhir. Kita harus tetap waspada dan siap menghadapi segala kemungkinan,” tegasnya.
Dewan Pertahanan Hadapi Tekanan Global
Menurut analisis Fars News, pembentukan dewan ini bagian dari transformasi besar sistem keamanan Iran. Langkah ini dinilai penting menghadapi situasi geopolitik yang semakin tidak stabil.
Terlebih setelah gencatan senjata, Presiden AS Donald Trump langsung mengancam: “AS akan kembali menyerang jika Iran terus mengembangkan nuklir.”
Di tengah tekanan internasional ini, Iran memilih memperkuat pertahanan dengan menyatukan komando militer. “Dewan baru ini akan mempermudah koordinasi antara sipil dan militer,” tulis media pemerintah.
