Medan (Desapenari.id) – Jaksa Penuntut Umum (JPU) Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Medan, Sumatera Utara, tak main-main dalam menuntut Nefri Zaldi (32). Mereka meminta majelis hakim menjatuhkan hukuman dua tahun penjara kepada pria ini karena mencuri sepasang sandal mewah mantan majikannya. “Kami meminta terdakwa dihukum dua tahun penjara,” tegas JPU Kejari Medan Aprilda Yanti Hutasuhut di Pengadilan Negeri Medan, Selasa.

JPU menyatakan Nefri, warga Jalan Asahan, Medan Krio, Sunggal, Deli Serdang, terbukti melakukan pencurian. “Terdakwa melanggar Pasal 362 KUHP,” jelas Aprilda. Mendengar tuntutan itu, Nefri tak tinggal diam. Ia langsung menyampaikan pledoi atau pembelaan secara lisan. “Saya mengaku bersalah, menyesal, dan punya tanggungan keluarga. Mohon hukuman saya diringankan,” pintanya dengan suara lirih.

Hakim Ketua Sarma Siregar memutuskan menunda sidang setelah mendengarkan tuntutan JPU dan pembelaan Nefri. “Persidangan dilanjutkan Selasa (29/7) untuk pembacaan putusan,” ujarnya.

JPU Aprilda memaparkan, kejadian ini berawal pada Sabtu, 28 Desember 2024. Saat itu, Nefri—yang pernah bekerja di rumah korban, Siwaji Raza—datang bersama saksi Andika Gultom ke Griya Tur Indah, Jalan Krisan Medan. “Sekitar pukul 13.00 WIB, Andika melihat Nefri mengambil sandal merek Hermes dari rak sepatu dan memasukkannya ke kantong plastik cokelat,” jelas Aprilda.
Setelah mengambil sandal, Nefri meminta Andika mengantarnya ke Jalan Gaperta Medan. Tiga hari kemudian, Andika bertemu Ravindra di depan D City, Jalan Melati Putih Medan. Ravindra menyampaikan bahwa sandal Siwaji hilang, dan Andika pun mengaku melihat Nefri mengambilnya.

Polisi akhirnya menangkap Nefri pada Jumat, 21 Maret. Akibat aksinya, Siwaji mengaku rugi hingga Rp15 juta.
