SOLO, Desapenari.id – Getaran duka yang dalam tiba-tiba menyelimuti seluruh Keraton Kasunanan Surakarta Hadiningrat dan masyarakat Jawa pada pagi itu. Raja yang bijaksana, Kanjeng Sinuhun Paku Buwono (PB) XIII Hangabehi, dengan penuh ketenangan telah menghembuskan napas terakhirnya pada hari Minggu yang kelam (2/11/2025). Lebih mengejutkan lagi, kepergian Sang Raja bukan terjadi di dalam keraton, melainkan di RS Indriati Solo Baru, Kabupaten Sukoharjo, Jawa Tengah, tepat pada pukul 07.29 WIB. Pada akhirnya, jam tersebut menjadi penanda resmi berakhirnya sebuah era kepemimpinan yang penuh kharisma.
Tanpa menunggu waktu lama, kabar duka yang menyayat hati ini segera dikonfirmasi oleh salah satu pilar keluarga keraton, Kanjeng Pangeran Haryo (KPH) Eddy Wirabhumi. Dengan suara yang bergetar penuh duka, beliau menyatakan, “Nggih, memang hari ini kita berduka. Secara resmi, beliau sudah dinyatakan meninggal dunia pagi tadi di Rumah Sakit Indriati. Saat ini, kita sedang mempersiapkan proses pemulangan dari rumah sakit ke Keraton dengan penuh khidmat.” Melalui pernyataannya ini, KPH Eddy Wirabhumi secara tidak langsung menyampaikan bahwa seluruh keraton sedang bersiap untuk menyambut kepulangan terakhir Sang Raja.
Sebenarnya, perjalanan kesehatan PB XIII telah menjadi perhatian serius dalam beberapa waktu terakhir. Menurut penuturan KPH Eddy lebih lanjut, Sang Raja sudah cukup lama menjalani berbagai rangkaian perawatan medis intensif karena kondisi kesehatannya yang terus menurun. Sebagai contoh, beliau harus berjuang melawan berbagai komplikasi penyakit yang menyerang. Yang paling utama, kadar gula darah tinggi yang dideritanya menjadi salah satu tantangan terberat, disusul kemudian oleh berbagai penyakit lain yang muncul seiring dengan usia beliau yang sudah sepuh. Pada intinya, tubuh Sang Raja telah menjalani pertarungan yang sangat melelahkan sebelum akhirnya menyerah.
Namun demikian, perjuangan beliau melawan sakit bukanlah sebuah perjalanan yang singkat. Sebelumnya, publik sempat dikejutkan dengan kabar bahwa PB XIII harus dirawat di rumah sakit tepat sebelum acara besar keraton, Adang Dal. Ajaibnya, pada saat itu, beliau berhasil menunjukkan ketangguhannya dengan sembuh dan dapat menghadiri acara tersebut. Sayangnya, kebahagiaan atas kesembuhan itu ternyata tidak berlangsung lama. Beberapa waktu setelah kegiatan Adang Dal berakhir, kondisi kesehatan Sang Raja secara perlahan kembali memburuk. Secara bertahap, kekuatan beliau terkikis hingga akhirnya takdir menjemputnya untuk selama-lamanya.
Kini, prosesi pemulangan jenasah dari rumah sakit menuju keraton sedang dipersiapkan dengan sangat hati-hati. Sudah dapat dipastikan, seluruh abdi dalem dan keluarga keraton sedang bekerja sama untuk menyambut kepulangan pemimpin mereka yang tercinta. Seluruh rangkaian tradisi keraton akan dijalankan dengan penuh khidmat untuk menghormati jasa-jasa beliau. Sementara itu, alunan kidung dan doa dipastikan akan menggema di setiap sudut keraton, mengiringi perjalanan terakhir Sang Sinuhun. Masyarakat Solo dan seluruh pecinta budaya Jawa pastinya turut berduka, karena mereka telah kehilangan seorang raja yang menjadi simbol kebanggaan dan penjaga warisan leluhur.
Lebih dari itu, Paku Buwono XIII akan dikenang bukan hanya sebagai seorang raja, tetapi sebagai seorang pemimpin yang hangat dan dekat dengan rakyatnya. Gelar “Hangabehi” yang disandangnya memiliki makna yang dalam, yaitu “yang dipercaya dan dicintai”. Selama masa kepemimpinannya, beliau selalu berusaha untuk melestarikan adat dan tradisi Kasunanan Surakarta di tengah derasnya arus modernisasi. Oleh karena itu, kepergiannya meninggalkan luka yang mendalam dan kekosongan yang sulit untuk terisi. Sebagai bukti, banyak generasi muda yang merasa kehilangan sosok bapak yang selalu memberikan wejangan dan nasihat kebijaksanaan.
Di sisi lain, perjalanan hidup PB XIII penuh dengan lika-liku dan pembelajaran. Meskipun beliau lahir dan besar dalam lingkungan keraton, sikapnya yang rendah hati dan perhatiannya terhadap masalah sosial membuatnya disegani oleh berbagai kalangan. Bahkan, beliau sering kali terlihat menyapa dan berbincang dengan masyarakat biasa, sebuah pemandangan yang menunjukkan betapa dekatnya beliau dengan rakyat. Tanpa diragukan lagi, kharisma dan kebaikan hati beliau telah meninggalkan jejak yang tak terhapuskan di hati banyak orang.
Pada akhirnya, meskipun kabar duka ini sangat memilukan, kita harus bisa mengambil hikmah dari peristiwa ini. Kepergian PB XIII mengajarkan kita tentang arti ketabahan, pengabdian, dan cinta terhadap budaya bangsa. Seluruh doa dan duka cita kini dialirkan oleh ribuan, bahkan jutaan orang untuk mendampingi perjalanan spiritual beliau. Semoga, di alam keabadian nanti, Sang Raja mendapat tempat yang mulia di sisi Yang Maha Kuasa. Dan untuk Keraton Surakarta, perjalanan harus terus berlanjut, menjaga warisan dan melanjutkan estafet kepemimpinan yang telah dibangun dengan susah payah oleh Paku Buwono XIII.
