Desapenari.id – Heboh dan bikin geram! Seorang turis mancanegara berusia 21 tahun asal Hungaria, EN, harus merasakan pengalaman mencekam saat liburannya di Lombok berubah jadi mimpi buruk. Alih-alih menikmati keindahan pasir merah muda Pantai Pink yang terkenal itu, ia justru menjadi korban kejahatan pembegalan di tengah jalan. Lebih detailnya, insiden tragis ini terjadi pada Jumat siang, 28 November 2025, tepatnya pukul 12.00 Wita di Jalan Raya Mbungkao Menurik, Desa Wakan, Jerowaru, Lombok Timur. Nah, lokasi ini kan merupakan salah satu akses menuju destinasi wisata super hits tersebut. Bayangkan saja, korban yang sedang asyik berkendara sendirian dengan motor maticnya tiba-tiba harus berhadapan dengan aksi kriminal yang sungguh tak terduga.
Kemudian, suasana mencekam benar-benar terjadi ketika dua orang tak dikenal tiba-tiba menyamperi dan memepet korbannya. Salah satu dari mereka, tanpa basa-basi, langsung menodongkan senjata tajam jenis badik ke arah sang turis! Tentu saja, karena merasa ketakutan dan terancam jiwanya, EN pun tak punya pilihan lain selain menuruti kemauan para pelaku. Akhirnya, dengan sangat terpaksa, ia menyerahkan kendaraan motornya sekaligus seluruh uang tunai yang dibawanya, yang jumlahnya mencapai Rp 1,4 juta. Setelah berhasil mendapatkan barang-barang korban, kedua pelaku itu langsung kabur meninggalkan lokasi secepat kilat. Bahkan, kondisi jalan yang sepi dan lengang pada saat itu semakin memperparah trauma korban, lho. Soalnya, ia benar-benar sendirian tanpa ada orang lain yang bisa dimintai pertolongan.
Namun, ceritanya tidak berhenti di situ. Di sore harinya, korban yang tentunya masih dalam kondisi shock akhirnya memberanikan diri untuk melaporkan peristiwa mengerikan ini ke Polsek Jerowaru. Menanggapi laporan tersebut, petugas kepolisian langsung bergerak cepat tanpa menunda waktu. Mereka segera mendatangi lokasi kejadian perkara (TKP), melakukan olah TKP secara cermat, dan gencar mencari saksi-saksi yang mungkin melihat kejadiannya. Yang menarik, Direktur Reserse Kriminal Umum Polda NTB, Kombes Pol Syarif Hidayat, menegaskan bahwa kasus ini langsung ditangani secara serius. “Setelah melakukan penyelidikan, saya secara khusus memerintahkan agar kasus ini menjadi prioritas utama karena korbannya adalah warga asing,” ungkap Syarif pada Sabtu, 6 Desember 2025. Pernyataan ini jelas menunjukkan komitmen pihak berwajib dalam menjaga reputasi pariwisata Indonesia, terutama Lombok yang dikenal sangat ramah pada turis.
Selanjutnya, berbekal informasi lapangan yang dikumpulkan secara intensif, polisi akhirnya berhasil membongkar dan menangkap kedua pelaku pada Kamis, 3 Desember 2025. “Kami dengan bangga mengumumkan keberhasilan tim dalam mengungkap dan menangkap pelaku begal yang korbannya adalah warga negara asing asal Hungaria tersebut,” tegas Syarif dengan penuh keyakinan. Kedua tersangka yang berhasil diamankan ternyata memiliki profil yang berbeda. Pertama, ada S alias P (23), yang ternyata merupakan residivis atau orang yang pernah berurusan dengan kasus serupa sebelumnya. Kemudian, pelaku kedua adalah WPY (16), seorang pelajar asal Lombok Tengah yang seharusnya masih menempuh pendidikan. Penanganan terhadap keduanya pun dibedakan; tersangka P langsung ditahan di Polda NTB, sementara WPY yang statusnya sebagai anak berhadapan dengan hukum dititipkan di Sentra Paramita Mataram untuk mendapat pembinaan.
Tak hanya itu, proses penangkapan ini juga tidak berjalan mulus begitu saja. Syarif mengungkapkan bahwa salah satu pelaku sempat melakukan perlawanan terhadap petugas. “Kami pun terpaksa melakukan tindakan tegas yang terukur untuk mengamankan situasi,” jelasnya. Sebagai bukti kuat, polisi pun berhasil menyita sejumlah barang bukti penting dari tangan para pelaku. Barang-barang tersebut meliputi motor milik korban yang berhasil ditemukan, motor yang digunakan pelaku, senjata badik yang dipakai untuk mengancam, serta kartu ATM milik sang turis Hungaria. Nah, dengan barang bukti yang lengkap ini, proses hukum bisa berjalan lebih lancar. Akhirnya, kedua pelaku kini dijerat dengan Pasal 365 ayat 1 dan 2 KUHP tentang pencurian dengan kekerasan. Pasal ini bukan main-main karena ancaman hukumannya bisa mencapai maksimal 12 tahun penjara! Tindakan tegas dan cepat dari Polda NTB ini patut diacungi jempol karena berhasil mengamankan pelaku hanya dalam hitungan hari setelah kejadian, memberikan rasa aman sekaligus pesan kuat bahwa kejahatan di wilayah wisata tidak akan dibiarkan.
