“Evaluasi harus tetap berjalan sampai akhir. Kami juga akan memantau perkembangannya. Kalau hasilnya bagus, jangan ragu-ragu—bahkan jangan gengsi untuk menjadikannya gerakan nasional!” tegas Ketua LPAI, Seto Mulyadi (Kak Seto), dalam keterangan tertulisnya, Rabu (21/5/2025).
Kak Seto menjelaskan bahwa evaluasi ini penting untuk memastikan dampak jangka panjang pada peserta usai mereka menyelesaikan program. “Selain itu, kalau ada kekurangan, harus segera diperbaiki,” tambahnya.
Dia juga menekankan bahwa pendidikan formal dan informal di keluarga tidak cukup. “Pendidikan nonformal seperti program Bela Negara di Dodik Rindam III/Siliwangi Cikole Lembang ini bisa menjadi solusi,” ujarnya.
“Saya sendiri terharu melihat perubahan mereka. Bahkan ada orangtua yang sampai menangis dan pingsan karena tak menyangka anaknya bisa berubah secepat ini,” ungkap Kak Seto dengan nada semangat.
Menurutnya, anak-anak sangat butuh kasih sayang dan perhatian, bukan hanya dari orangtua dan guru, tapi juga dari pemimpin. “Mereka perlu merasa didukung,” katanya.
Soal program Bela Negara, Kak Seto yakin ini bisa mengembangkan potensi anak yang sebelumnya terhambat karena lingkungan atau keluarga. “Dari awal saya sudah bilang, beri mereka kesempatan. Sekarang, setelah lihat langsung dan ngobrol dengan mereka, saya simpulkan—ini langkah brilian!” tutupnya penuh keyakinan.
