TANGERANG, Desapenari.id – Petugas Bea Cukai dan polisi berhasil meringkus aksi nekat sepasang suami-istri asal Pakistan. Keduanya, MJ (36) dan SB (29), harus berakhir di tahanan setelah ketahuan menyelundupkan sabu-sabu dengan cara yang ekstrem: menelan 159 kapsul berisi kristal putih! Tentu saja, modus bahaya ini langsung digagalkan oleh aparat.
“Kami menduga kuat keduanya berperan sebagai kurir narkotika dengan modus internal concealment lewat cara ditelan atau swallow,” tegas Direktur Jenderal Bea dan Cukai, Djaka Budi Utama, dalam konferensi pers yang digelar di KPU Bea Cukai Tipe C Soekarno-Hatta, Tangerang, pada Jumat (9/1/2026). Menurutnya, tim gabungan akhirnya menangkap MJ dan SB di Bandara Soekarno-Hatta pada Selasa (6/1/2025) lalu, tepat saat mereka baru saja mendarat. “Kedua penumpang yang kami amankan ini merupakan pasangan suami-istri, yang baru tiba menggunakan penerbangan,” jelas Djaka.
Sebenarnya, penangkapan spektakuler ini berawal dari laporan intelijen tentang rencana pengiriman narkoba dari jaringan internasional melalui Bandara Soekarno-Hatta. Selain itu, MJ dan SB sendiri sudah menjadi target pengembangan informasi kasus narkotika oleh Polri sejak Juli 2025. Alhasil, saat pasangan itu tiba di Jakarta melalui rute Lahore–Bangkok–Jakarta sekitar pukul 11.55 WIB, petugas Bea Cukai dan polisi sudah siap siaga mengawasi mereka.
Selanjutnya, tim gabungan langsung melakukan pemeriksaan mendalam terhadap MJ dan SB. Awalnya, pemeriksaan barang bawaan tidak membuahkan hasil. Namun, kecurigaan aparat justru terbukti ketika hasil tes urine menunjukkan bahwa keduanya positif mengandung metamfetamina dan amfetamin! Fakta ini langsung menguatkan dugaan bahwa ada yang tidak beres.
Karena itu, petugas pun segera membawa keduanya ke Rumah Sakit Pantai Indah Kapuk untuk pemeriksaan lebih lanjut. Hasilnya sungguh mencengangkan! Rontgen dan CT Scan dengan jelas memperlihatkan adanya benda asing berbentuk kapsul memenuhi perut keduanya. “Pemeriksaan medis ini memperkuat dugaan kami bahwa narkotika benar-benar disembunyikan dengan metode swallow. Kemudian, kami berkoordinasi dengan Bareskrim Polri untuk proses medis pengeluaran barang bukti,” papar Djaka.
Setelah melalui prosedur medis intensif di RS Polri Kramat Jati, terungkap fakta yang lebih mengejutkan lagi. Ternyata, MJ menelan 97 kapsul sabu dengan total berat 1.075,9 gram. Sementara itu, istrinya, SB, menelan 62 kapsul dengan total berat 563,33 gram. Dengan demikian, total sabu yang berhasil digagalkan dari dalam tubuh mereka mencapai 1.639,23 gram atau sekitar 1,6 kilogram! Perlu diketahui, semua sabu itu dikemas rapi dalam pembungkus alat kontrasepsi. “Ini merupakan modus yang sudah sering dilakukan. Mungkin hanya polanya saja yang berubah dari waktu ke waktu,” tandas Djaka.
Kini, seluruh barang bukti beserta kedua tersangka sudah diserahkan kepada Subdit IV Direktorat Tindak Pidana Narkoba Bareskrim Polri. Penyerahan ini dilakukan untuk penyelidikan dan pengembangan kasus yang lebih mendalam. “Saat ini, kasus terus kami kembangkan karena diduga kuat terkait dengan jaringan internasional,” tegas Djaka.
Akhirnya, atas aksi berisiko tinggi mereka, MJ dan SB terancam hukuman yang sangat berat. Keduanya dijerat dengan Undang-Undang Nomor 35 Tahun 2009 tentang Narkotika dan Undang-Undang Nomor 36 Tahun 2009 tentang Kesehatan. Untuk itu, ancaman maksimal yang menghadang mereka adalah hukuman mati atau penjara seumur hidup. Sungguh, sebuah risiko yang tidak sebanding untuk sebuah kejahatan!
