Tim Kejaksaan Negeri (Kejari) Simalungun langsung mengenakan rompi tahanan dan memborgol tangan keduanya setelah berhasil menangkap mereka. Namun, status mereka masih misteri: apakah sudah resmi jadi tersangka atau masih saksi?
Menghindar dengan Surat Sakit Palsu
Kepala Seksi Pidana Umum (Pidum) Kejari Simalungun, Reza Darmawan, enggan berkomentar panjang. “Konfirmasi lebih lanjut bisa ke Seksi Intelijen. Biar satu pintu sesuai perintah pimpinan,” katanya singkat via pesan teks, Jumat (3/7/2025). Sementara itu, Kepala Seksi Intelijen Edison Sumitro Situmorang justru menolak memberikan keterangan saat kami hubungi. Padahal sehari sebelumnya, ia sendiri yang mengungkapkan bahwa timnya baru saja mengamankan kedua tersangka melalui penjemputan paksa.
“Mereka mangkir lima kali panggilan dengan alasan sakit. Ternyata, setelah dicek, surat dokternya palsu!” ujar Edison. Karena itulah, tim Kejari gerak cepat.

Drama Penjemputan Paksa Berakhir Tragis
Saksi korupsi Kardianto dan Bambang akhirnya dilacak di Jalan H.M. Yamin, Kisaran Timur, Asahan, Rabu (2/7/2025). Tapi, saat hendak diamankan, Kardianto panik. Dia melawan dan Saksi Korupsi pun nekat lompat ke Sungai Silau untuk kabur. Akibatnya, dua orang terseret arus: Reynanda Primta Ginting (26), calon jaksa muda, dan Muhammad Safari Siregar (Fahri), warga setempat.
Tim SAR berhasil menemukan jasad Reynanda sehari kemudian, sekitar 3 km dari lokasi kejadian. Keluarga langsung membawa jenazah Reynanda ke Karo untuk dimakamkan. Sementara Tim SAR berhasil menemukan jenazah Fahri pada Jumat (4/7/2025) pagi sekitar pukul 10.00 WIB setelah melakukan pencarian intensif.
Petugas langsung menggiring Kardianto dan Bambang ke Kejari Simalungun dengan mengenakan rompi merah dan memborgol tangan mereka. Mereka kini menjalani pemeriksaan terkait dugaan korupsi Dana Desa 2024 senilai Rp 300 juta lebih.
Insiden ini memicu kemarahan publik. Banyak yang menuntut proses hukum transparan, apalagi ada nyawa melayang. “Kasus ini harus jadi contoh, jangan sampai ada lagi korban karena ulah orang yang ingin kabur dari hukum,” kata seorang warga di depan Kantor Kejari.
Sementara itu, keluarga Reynanda berduka. Tugas lapangan yang berbahaya akhirnya merenggut nyawa calon jaksa berbakat itu, memaksa dunia penegakan hukum melepas salah satu generasi penerus terbaiknya. “Dia seharusnya baru mulai karier, malah gugur begini,” keluh salah satu kerabatnya.
Kejari Simalungun masih tutup-tutupan soal perkembangan kasus. Penyidik kini aktif melacak aliran dana dan memeriksa dokumen proyek yang diduga menjadi alat korupsi, ungkap sumber internal lembaga tersebut. Jika terbukti, bukan cuma status saksi yang bisa berubah, tetapi juga ancaman hukuman berat menanti keduanya.
