Sopir dan Kernet Ditangkap.
Jakarta, Desapenari.id. — Sopir dan kernet bus Antar Lintas Sumatera (ALS) yang terguling di dekat Terminal Bukit Surungan di Kota Padang Panjang, Sumatera Barat, telah ditangkap oleh polisi di Jakarta, desapenari.id.
Menurut Kapolda Sumatera Barat Irjen Gatot Tri Suryanta, sopir dan kernet bus saat ini masih membutuhkan perawatan medis.
Gatot menjelaskan kepada wartawan pada Selasa (6/5), “Kami sudah mengamankan sopir dan kernet tersebut. Tim medis sedang memberikan pengobatan kepada keduanya sebelum nanti kami lakukan klarifikasi dan tes urine.”
Selain itu, polisi segera memulai olah tempat kejadian perkara (TKP) untuk menyelidiki kejadian nahas tersebut.
“Kami masih mencari atau olah TKP oleh TAA untuk mencari penyebab,” katanya.
Menurut pendataan terbaru, total 35 orang menjadi korban, dengan 23 orang luka-luka dan 12 lainnya meninggal dunia.

Saat berada di lokasi kejadian, Brigadir Rizky Yudha dari Unit Gakkum Satlantas Polres Padangpanjang mengatakan, “Bus ALS datang dari arah Bukittinggi menuju Kota Padang. Sesampainya di dekat simpang Terminal Busur, bus mengalami hilang fungsi pengereman dan terbalik.”
Polisi menangkap sopir dan kernet bus Antar Lintas Sumatera (ALS) setelah bus mereka terguling di Padang Panjang, Sumatera Barat. Kapolda Irjen Gatot Tri Suryanta menyatakan keduanya masih menjalani perawatan medis sebelum pemeriksaan lebih lanjut, termasuk tes urine. Tim kepolisian sedang mengolah TKP untuk menyelidiki penyebab kecelakaan yang menewaskan 12 orang dan melukai 23 lainnya. Bus ALS terguling akibat rem blong saat melintas dari Bukittinggi menuju Padang. Brigadir Rizky Yudha mengonfirmasi bus kehilangan fungsi pengereman sebelum terbalik di dekat Terminal Bukit Surungan. Korban selamat menjalani perawatan, sementara polisi terus mendalami kasus ini.
