Ketimpangan semakin nyata ketika melihat data dari negara berpenghasilan rendah dan menengah ke bawah. Di negara miskin, jumlah orang yang tak mampu membeli makanan sehat melonjak dari 464 juta (2019) menjadi 545 juta (2024). Sementara di negara menengah ke bawah (tidak termasuk India), angkanya naik dari 791 juta menjadi 869 juta dalam periode yang sama.
