TABANAN, Desapenari.id – Aksi penyelamatan dramatis akhirnya berhasil membawa pulih lima pendaki yang nyaris terjebak kelelahan ekstrem di lereng Gunung Batukaru, Tabanan, Bali. Sungguh, tim SAR harus berjibaku menyelamatkan mereka pada dini hari yang gelap gulita, tepatnya pada Minggu (12/10/2025). Koordinator Pencarian dan Pertolongan Buleleng, Dwi Jumi Antara, dengan tegas membenarkan bahwa insiden menegangkan itu mulai terjadi sekitar pukul 01.00 Wita. Mari kita simak lebih lanjut bagaimana kronologi lengkapnya.
Sebelum cerita penyelamatan ini bergulir, kita mundur sejenak ke hari sebelumnya. Ternyata, sembilan orang pendaki sebelumnya telah memulai petualangan mereka menuju puncak Gunung Batukaru. Dengan penuh semangat, mereka melangkah dari jalur Pura Malen, Desa Wongaya Gede, Kecamatan Penebel, mulai Sabtu (11/10/2025) pukul 08.45 Wita. Kemudian, setelah menghabiskan hari di ketinggian, rombongan tersebut memutuskan untuk mulai turun sekitar pukul 17.30 Wita. Nah, di sinilah awal mula masalah muncul karena kelompok besar ini sempat terpecah menjadi dua. Sebagai informasi, empat orang memilih untuk lebih dulu turun, lalu mereka kemudian diikuti oleh lima orang lainnya yang ternyata mengalami kesulitan.
Selanjutnya, malapetaka pun mulai menghampiri kelompok kedua. Pasalnya, pada ketinggian sekitar 1.725 meter di atas permukaan laut (mdpl), kelima pendaki tersebut benar-benar mengalami kelelahan yang sangat parah. Akibatnya, mereka sama sekali tidak bisa melanjutkan perjalanan turun dan akhirnya membutuhkan bantuan SAR secepatnya. Bayangkan saja, mereka terjebak di tengah kegelapan malam dengan kondisi fisik yang sudah lemah. Oleh karena itu, satu-satunya harapan adalah tim evakuasi yang segera diterjunkan.
Tanpa membuang waktu sedetik pun, tim SAR gabungan langsung bergerak cepat setelah laporan darurat itu diterima. “Pukul 03.20 Wita kami bersama-sama dengan tim SAR gabungan mulai naik mencari posisi target untuk memberikan bantuan,” ujar Jumiantara dengan nada waspada. Mereka jelas harus berjuang melintasi medan terjal dan gelap untuk mencapai para pendaki. Selain itu, faktor cuaca dan waktu menjadi musuh utama dalam operasi ini. Namun, semangat juang mereka tidak pernah pudar.
Akhirnya, setelah pencarian yang menegangkan, sekitar pukul 05.45 Wita, tim berhasil menemukan kelima pendaki di ketinggian 1.534 mdpl. Lebih detail lagi, lokasi tepatnya berada di koordinat 08°19’53.63″ S – 115°04’37.45″ E. Untungnya, semua orang ditemukan dalam kondisi fisik yang relatif baik. Meski begitu, mereka dilaporkan hanya mengalami kram otot di kaki sebagai akibat dari kelelahan yang amat sangat. Setelah itu, proses evakuasi segera dilakukan untuk membawa mereka turun dengan selamat menuju Pura Malen.
Di sisi lain, laporan awal tentang insiden ini rupanya diterima dari salah satu pendaki lain yang kebetulan sempat bertemu dengan kelompok yang mengalami kesulitan tersebut. Kepala Kantor Pencarian dan Pertolongan Kelas A Denpasar, I Nyoman Sidakarya, menjelaskan hal ini. “Laporan kami tindaklanjuti dengan mengerahkan tujuh personel Pos Pencarian dan Pertolongan Buleleng,” tegasnya. Tidak hanya itu, pihaknya juga langsung berkoordinasi intensif dengan unsur SAR lainnya seperti BPBD Tabanan, Polsek Pupuan, potensi SAR, staf Kecamatan Pupuan, pemandu lokal, dan tentunya masyarakat setempat. Kolaborasi inilah yang pada akhirnya menjadi kunci kesuksesan operasi penyelamatan ini.
Sebagai penutup, kisah penyelamatan ini memberikan kita pelajaran berharga. Pertama, pentingnya kesiapan fisik dan logistik sebelum mendaki gunung, terutama yang memiliki medan menantang seperti Batukaru.
