GOWA, Desapenari.id – Sebuah peristiwa tragis di Kabupaten Gowa, Sulawesi Selatan. Seorang buruh bangunan berusia sangat muda, harus meregang nyawa setelah ia terjatuh dari ketinggian lantai 5 sebuah proyek pembangunan sekolah. Akibatnya, keluarga yang ditinggalkan pun harus berduka dalam-duka.
Selanjutnya, pihak kepolisian pun segera bergerak cepat untuk mengusut tuntas kasus ini. Mereka langsung melakukan olah Tempat Kejadian Perkara (TKP) dan segera mengevakuasi jasad sang korban menuju Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Polri Makassar pada hari Rabu (29/10/2025). Selain itu, penyelidikan mendalam juga terus mereka gulirkan untuk mengungkap setiap detail kejadian yang sebenarnya.
Kembali ke tragedinya, peristiwa nahas ini sebenarnya sudah terjadi sehari sebelumnya. Pada Selasa (28/10/2025) sekitar pukul 12.00 WITA, Dimas (20) yang sedang asyik bekerja, tiba-tiba mengalami insiden mengerikan. Pada saat yang sama, rekan-rekan kerjanya mungkin tidak menyangka bahwa hari itu akan menjadi hari terakhir bagi Dimas.
Lebih detailnya, korban saat itu sedang menjalankan tugasnya di proyek pembangunan sekolah yang terletak di Jalan Pallantikang, Kelurahan Katangka, Kabupaten Gowa. Kemudian, sebuah pemandangan yang sangat mengejutkanlah yang mengungkap tragedi ini. Bahkan, jasadnya pertama kali ditemukan oleh seorang siswa yang tidak sengaja melihat tubuh tak bernyawa itu tergeletak di gang dekat lokasi ia bekerja.
“Kami dapat konfirmasi bahwa jasad korban pertama kali ditemukan oleh seorang siswa di lorong (gang) atau tepat di area bawah tempat korban terakhir bekerja,” jelas Kanit Reskrim Polsek Sombaopu, AKP Masjaya, saat tim media mengonfirmasinya melalui sambungan telepon, Rabu (29/10/2025). Dengan demikian, pihak berwajib mulai bisa memetakan kronologi awal penemuan korban.
Diduga Jatuh Saat Jam Istirahat yang Sepi
Lalu, bagaimana ceritanya sampai tidak ada seorang pun yang menyaksikan kejadian tersebut? Ternyata, berdasarkan informasi yang berhasil dihimpun dari berbagai narasumber, situasi pada saat kejadian sangatlah berbeda dari kondisi kerja normal. Saat itu, korban konon sedang menyelesaikan pekerjaan di lantai 5 bersama pamannya sendiri. Akan tetapi, sebuah dugaan kuat muncul bahwa korban terjatuh justru saat ia sedang sendirian.
“Dari hasil wawancara kami, dapat disimpulkan bahwa tidak ada seorang pun yang secara langsung melihat momentum jatuhnya korban. Pasalnya, saat kejadian berlangsung, waktu sudah menunjukkan jam istirahat. Lebih lanjut, kami mendapat keterangan bahwa di lantai 5 sebelumnya memang ada dua orang yang bekerja, yaitu pamannya dan korban. Namun, sang paman telah terlebih dahulu turun untuk istirahat, meninggalkan Dimas sendirian di atas,” papar Amin Majid, sang pengawas proyek, saat tim media menemuinya langsung di lokasi kejadian. Oleh karena itu, faktor kesendirian korban menjadi titik fokus yang sangat krusial.
Menanggapi hal ini, aparat kepolisian yang tiba di lokasi tidak mau kehilangan momentum. Mereka langsung menggelar olah TKP secara menyeluruh untuk mengumpulkan setiap barang bukti yang ada. Setelah itu, jasad korban segera mereka evakuasi dengan hati-hati menuju Rumah Sakit Bhayangkara Polri Makassar. Di rumah sakit inilah, rencananya tim forensik akan melakukan otopsi untuk memastikan penyebab kematian yang sebenarnya.
“Sampai saat ini, kasusnya masih kami tempatkan dalam tahap penyelidikan intensif. Tujuan kami hanya satu, yaitu memastikan dengan pasti apa yang menjadi penyebab utama kematian korban,” tegas AKP Masjaya kembali. Dengan kata lain, setiap kemungkinan, baik itu kecelakaan kerja murni maupun kelalaian, masih menjadi bahan penyelidikan yang serius.
Akhirnya, setelah seluruh proses di rumah sakit selesai, jasad Dimas yang malang kemudian dibawa pulang ke kampung halamannya. Keluarga besar menjemputnya ke Desa Cikoang, Kabupaten Takalar, untuk disemayamkan dan memberikan penghormatan terakhir. Rencananya, prosesi pemakaman akan dilangsungkan pada hari yang sama, Rabu (29/10/2025), mengantarkan Dimas pada peristirahatan terakhirnya.
Singkatnya, kisah pilu Dimas ini menjadi pengingat yang sangat pahit bagi dunia konstruksi tentang betapa pentingnya standar Keselamatan dan Kesehatan Kerja (K3). Tragedi ini menyisakan duka mendalam bagi keluarganya dan juga menjadi pelajaran berharga bagi semua pihak yang terlibat dalam proyek-proyek pembangunan.
