Aksi cepat tim gabungan Polres Probolinggo Kota berhasil menggagalkan peredaran narkoba jenis sabu seberat 1 kilogram pada Jumat (16/5/2025) dini hari. Tak hanya menyita barang haram itu, polisi juga meringkus tiga tersangka yang terlibat.
AKBP Rico Yumasri, Kapolres Probolinggo Kota, menegaskan bahwa petugas berhasil menangkap ketiga pelaku tepat saat mereka membawa sabu tersebut. “Kami berhasil mengamankan tiga tersangka beserta barang bukti sabu seberat 1 kg,” tegas Rico dalam konferensi pers di Mapolres Probolinggo Kota.
Kasus ini terbongkar berkat laporan warga yang diterima Satuan Resnarkoba Polres Probolinggo Kota. Informasi itu menyebutkan adanya rencana pengiriman sabu di wilayah mereka. Tanpa buang waktu, petugas langsung bergerak melakukan penyelidikan.
Berdasarkan informasi yang terkumpul, polisi langsung bergerak cepat dan menyergap mobil Honda CRV hitam di Jalan Raya Sukapura, Desa Laweyan. Mereka pun segera menggeledah mobil itu dan menemukan 1 kg sabu!
Ketiga pelaku yang berhasil diamankan adalah AR (39), MJ (50), dan MH (40). Selain sabu, polisi juga menyita mobil Honda CRV, tiga ponsel, serta uang tunai Rp 3,75 juta. “Ini kasus terbesar dalam beberapa tahun terakhir di wilayah hukum kami,” ungkap Rico.
