BANDUNG, desapenari.id – Bandoeng 10K 2025: Bandung Jadi Tujuan Pelari Nasional dan Internasional. Tahun 2025 menjadi tahun spesial bagi Kota Bandung! Pasalnya, Bandoeng 10K, kompetisi lari yang digelar oleh Bank BJB bersama Harian Kompas dan Pemerintah Kota Bandung, sukses menyedot perhatian ribuan pelari dari dalam dan luar negeri. Acara yang digelar pada Minggu, 18 Mei 2025 ini mengambil start di Kantor Pusat Bank BJB di Jalan Braga dan finis di Balai Kota Bandung.
Menurut Haryo Damardono, Pemimpin Redaksi Harian Kompas, antusiasme peserta luar biasa. “Sebanyak 2.967 pelari datang dari berbagai daerah di Indonesia,” ungkapnya. Yang bikin menarik, peserta lintas generasi turut meramaikan. Pelari tertua berusia 80 tahun, sementara yang termuda baru 14 tahun! Tak hanya itu, 60% peserta berasal dari luar Jawa Barat, membuktikan bahwa Bandoeng 10K benar-benar jadi magnet bagi pelari nasional.
Bukan cuma pelari dalam negeri yang antusias. “Ada 12 pelari asing dari Kenya, Inggris, dan Malaysia,” jelas Haryo. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa Bandoeng 10K bukan sekadar ajang lari, tapi juga panggung promosi pariwisata dan ekonomi Bandung.

Muhammad Farhan, Wali Kota Bandung, menyambut gembira gelaran ini. “Dengan dukungan PASI, Bandoeng 10K bisa jadi wadah pengembangan atlet lari,” ujarnya. Farhan berjanji akan mengevaluasi kekurangan teknis agar acara semakin baik ke depannya. “Kita harus tunjukkan bahwa Bandung siap jadi destinasi sport tourism,” tegasnya.
Farhan juga menekankan bahwa Bandoeng 10K bisa menggerakkan ekonomi lokal. “Ini bagian dari konsep marketing Bandung: turisme, trading, investment,” jelasnya. Rencananya, setiap minggu akan ada event lari serupa untuk meningkatkan okupansi hotel dan penjualan UMKM.
Sani Ikhsan Maulana, Deputy Corporate Secretary Bank BJB, menyatakan bahwa Bandoeng 10K adalah komitmen jangka panjang bank ini. “Kami percaya olahraga bisa dorong ekonomi, sosial, dan kebanggaan daerah,” katanya. Bank BJB tidak hanya jadi sponsor, tapi juga penggerak komunitas lokal.
