Kepala Dinas Tenaga Kerja, Transmigrasi, dan Energi Jakarta, Arif Syaripudin, menyampaikan temuan menarik: perusahaan-perusahaan di ibu kota saat ini lebih banyak membuka lowongan kerja untuk generasi muda di bawah 30 tahun. Ia menjelaskan, para pengusaha lebih memilih merekrut tenaga kerja muda karena melihat mereka mampu menyerap pelatihan dengan cepat, mudah menyesuaikan diri dengan perkembangan teknologi, dan memiliki potensi masa kerja yang lebih lama.
“Memang, lowongan untuk usia di bawah 30 tahun jauh lebih banyak. “Perusahaan umumnya menawarkan posisi entry level untuk anak muda, sedangkan untuk pekerja di atas 30 tahun, mereka biasanya mensyaratkan keahlian khusus atau pengalaman kerja yang lebih spesifik,” papar Arif dalam wawancara pada Minggu (18/5/2025)
Meski begitu, Arif menegaskan bahwa peluang kerja untuk kalangan usia 30 tahun ke atas tetap terbuka lebar, khususnya di bidang jasa, administrasi, keuangan, dan pemasaran.
“Para pencari kerja yang menguasai skill interpersonal dan profesional unggulan, plus memiliki pengalaman relevan, justru akan mendapatkan peluang lebih besar,” tegas Arif.
Data terbaru Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) Jakarta menunjukkan, tingkat pengangguran terbuka di Jakarta per Februari 2025 naik menjadi 6,18% atau sekitar 337.990 orang. Angka ini meningkat 0,15% dibanding tahun sebelumnya. Beberapa faktor penyebabnya antara lain:
- Penambahan angkatan kerja sebanyak 41.620 orang sejak Februari 2024.
- Penurunan jumlah pekerja lulusan SMK dan Diploma IV ke atas masing-masing sebesar 2,65% dan 3,65%.
- Peningkatan pekerja berpendidikan SMP sebesar 3,20%.
- Banyaknya PHK di sektor industri pengolahan, perdagangan besar, dan jasa lainnya.
Namun, ada kabar baik: tingkat setengah pengangguran dan pekerja paruh waktu justru menurun.

Disnaker Jakarta menggelar berbagai program strategis. Salah satunya adalah job fair rutin di setiap kecamatan. batas usia maksimal 35 tahun.
