Sebuah rekaman CCTV yang beredar baru-baru ini berhasil mengungkap aksi nekat dua pemuda berpostur tambun yang sukses membobol sebuah mesin ATM di kawasan Jebrod, Kabupaten Cianjur, Jawa Barat. Dalam video berdurasi 6 menit 20 detik yang viral itu, kita bisa menyaksikan dengan jelas bagaimana kedua pelaku dengan begitu leluasa dan penuh percaya diri mengeluarkan uang tunai dari dalam mesin hanya dengan mengandalkan sebuah alat penjepit. Sebelum akhirnya berhasil menggasak lembar demi lembar uang, salah satu dari mereka terlebih dahulu dengan sengaja merusak bagian depan mesin menggunakan alat yang mirip dengan obeng atau batangan besi, yang menunjukkan bahwa aksi ini sudah direncanakan dengan matang.
Tak butuh waktu lama bagi aparat kepolisian untuk bergerak, dan akhirnya konfirmasi pun datang langsung dari Kepala Satuan Reserse dan Kriminal Polres Cianjur, Kompol Nova Bhayangkara. Beliau dengan tegas membenarkan terjadinya aksi pencurian nakal tersebut di wilayah hukumnya. Yang lebih mencengangkan lagi, jajaran Polres Cianjur ternyata sudah berhasil meringkus ketiga orang pelaku di tempat persembunyian mereka yang berada di daerah Tangerang, Banten. “Kami sudah mengamankan tiga orang pelaku. Mereka kami tangkap di luar kota karena memang bukan merupakan warga asli Cianjur,” ungkap Nova saat memberikan keterangan pers di Mako Polres Cianjur, pada hari Senin (29/9/2025). Pernyataan ini sekaligus menegaskan kecepatan dan ketepatan penyidik dalam mengusut kasus ini.
Lantas, bagaimana sebenarnya modus operandi yang digunakan oleh ketiga pelaku ini? Nova pun kemudian membeberkan secara rinci tahapan aksi mereka. Pertama-tama, para pelaku dengan sengaja merusak bagian yang disebut sebagai exit shutter pada mesin ATM, yaitu pintu kecil tempat uang keluar. Setelah bagian krusial itu berhasil dibobol, barulah para pelaku dengan leluasa memasukkan alat penjepit yang telah mereka siapkan sebelumnya untuk menjangkau dan mengambil uang yang masih tersusun rapi di dalam kotak penyimpanan mesin. Saat ini, semua barang bukti yang digunakan dalam kejahatan tersebut telah disita oleh pihak kepolisian, sementara para pelaku sendiri masih menjalani pemeriksaan intensif oleh penyidik untuk mengungkap apakah ada keterlibatan pihak lain atau modus serupa di lokasi lain.
Sebagai konsekuensi dari perbuatan mereka, ketiga pelaku kini harus berhadapan dengan pasal yang berat. Nova menegaskan bahwa mereka semua telah disangkakan dengan Pasal 363 ayat (2) KUHPidana tentang tindak pidana pencurian dengan pemberatan atau yang sering kita dengar sebagai ‘curat’. Pasal ini sendiri mengancam para pelakunya dengan hukuman penjara maksimal yang bisa mencapai hingga sembilan tahun lamanya. Oleh karena itu, kasus ini seharusnya menjadi pelajaran berharga bagi siapa saja untuk tidak mencoba-coba melakukan tindakan kriminal serupa, karena pada ujung-ujungnya, bui-lah yang akan menunggu.
