Desapenari.id – Baru-baru ini, sejumlah pengendara sepeda motor di Jawa Timur justru mengeluhkan kendaraan mereka mendadak “brebet” atau tersendat. Lebih mengejutkan lagi, masalah ini muncul setelah mereka mengisi BBM jenis Pertalite. Akibatnya, kasus ini pun ramai diperbincangkan dan terjadi di beberapa daerah, termasuk Jombang dan Lamongan.
Sebagai contoh, Robin, seorang driver ojek online asal Kabupaten Jombang, langsung merasakan dampaknya. Ia mengisi Pertalite di SPBU Tembelang pada Senin (27/10/2025) sore; kemudian, keesokan paginya, motornya langsung mogok dan akhirnya terpaksa dibawa ke bengkel. “Tadi pagi itu, tahu-tahu motor saya brebet, enggak tahu kenapa,” keluhnya pada Selasa (28/10/2025). “Setelah saya bawa ke bengkel, ternyata tidak hanya motor saya. Ada 7 atau 8 motor yang nasibnya sama,” tambah Robin dengan nada kesal.
Namun, ada kejadian tak terduka setelah mekanik memeriksa motornya. Motor Robin akhirnya bisa kembali hidup setelah bahan bakarnya mereka ganti seluruhnya dengan Pertamax. “Sepeda yang brebet tadi dikeluarkan semua bensinnya, diganti sama Pertamax. Diganti Pertamax, langsung nyala,” ceritanya dengan penuh kelegaan.
Di sisi lain, keluhan serupa juga datang dari M Basoir, seorang warga Lamongan. Motor Honda Beat tahun 2025 miliknya tiba-tiba mogok secara mendadak setelah ia mengisi Pertalite di salah satu SPBU setempat, Senin (27/10/2025). “Kemarin pas mau pulang kerja saya isi Pertalite, tapi setelah sekitar empat kilometer motor tiba-tiba brebet dan mogok,” ujarnya mengenaskan kejadian itu.
Setelah itu, mekanik di bengkel pun memeriksa motornya secara mendetail. Hasilnya, sang mekanik menyebutkan adanya gangguan pada sistem injeksi motor miliknya yang akhirnya menyebabkan beberapa komponen harus diganti.
Merespon berbagai keluhan yang viral ini, Menteri Energi dan Sumber Daya Mineral (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia pun turun tangan langsung. Dengan sigap, ia melakukan inspeksi mendadak (sidak) di salah satu SPBU di Kabupaten Malang, Jawa Timur, pada Rabu (29/10/2025) malam. Sidak ini ia lakukan usai menjadi pembicara di Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). Tujuannya jelas, ia ingin memastikan secara langsung kualitas bahan bakar yang selama ini disalurkan ke masyarakat.
Kemudian, Bahlil pun mendatangi SPBU Asrikaton di Kecamatan Pakis, Kabupaten Malang. Di lokasi, ia dengan antusias berdialog dengan operator SPBU dan juga warga sekitar untuk menanyakan kualitas BBM secara detail. Tidak hanya itu, ia juga mengambil sampel Pertalite dan Pertamax secara langsung untuk segera diuji.
Selanjutnya, sampel tersebut langsung ia periksa menggunakan distillate fuel bar chart, sebuah alat canggih yang biasa digunakan untuk mengecek kandungan dan mutu bahan bakar secara akurat. “Hasilnya sudah jelas, kualitas BBM berstandar bagus dan sesuai spesifikasi. Kandungan zat dan takarannya juga tepat,” tegas Bahlil dengan percaya diri.
Selain itu, ia juga menegaskan bahwa proses pengecekan ini ia lakukan bersama Badan Pengatur Hilir Minyak dan Gas Bumi (BPH Migas) dan Direktur Utama Pertamina Patra Niaga. “Saya pikir sudah clear. Ini kami didampingi oleh BPH Migas, ada Dirut Pertamina Patra Niaga yang punya tugas untuk menyediakan stok sampai kemudian menyalurkan. Sampai hari ini saya pikir sudah clear,” ujarnya meyakinkan semua pihak.
Meskipun hasil sementara telah menunjukkan kualitas BBM yang baik, Bahlil ternyata tidak berhenti sampai di situ. Sebagai langkah antisipasi, ia tetap membentuk tim khusus untuk menyelidiki laporan motor mogok setelah mengisi Pertalite secara lebih tuntas. “Tim sudah saya turunkan, baik dari Dirjen Migas, BPH Migas, serta dari Pertamina Patra Niaga. Sekarang tim masih berada di daerah. Yang jelas kami fokus menjaga kualitas, dan saya meminta kepada Pertamina jangan main-main,” tegasnya dengan sangat serius.
Lebih lanjut, Bahlil menambahkan sebuah pernyataan penting. Meskipun Pertamina merupakan BUMN, pihaknya akan terus melakukan pengawasan langsung tanpa kompromi. “Saya akan terus memantau karena mereka bertanggung jawab terhadap kualitas dan penyaluran BBM,” kata dia dengan penuh wibawa.
Sementara itu, dari pihak Pertamina, Direktur Utama PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo, memberikan penjelasan tambahan. Ia memaparkan bahwa pasokan BBM untuk wilayah Malang sebenarnya berasal dari Surabaya. “BBM yang ada di Malang ini disuplai dari Surabaya memakai gerbong tangki kereta, sumbernya sama,” ujarnya mencoba memberikan gambaran yang jelas.
Berdasarkan hasil sidak, kualitas Pertalite dan Pertamax di SPBU Asrikaton akhirnya dinyatakan sesuai standar. Akan tetapi, untuk memastikan semuanya benar-benar aman, Pertamina bersama Kementerian ESDM akan tetap melakukan uji laboratorium yang lebih mendalam. “Kami tetap melakukan pendalaman, termasuk pengecekan lewat laboratorium yang membutuhkan waktu untuk hasilnya,” kata Mars Ega mengakhiri pernyataannya. Jadi, masyarakat pun masih harus menunggu hasil final dari investigasi ini.
