Desapenari.id – Sebuah insiden menggegerkan terjadi di Pasar Malam Air Upas, Kabupaten Ketapang, Kalimantan Barat. Dengan demikian, enam warga Kecamatan Air Upas harus mengalami luka-luka setelah wahana perosotan ikonik, Rainbow Slide, tiba-tiba roboh pada malam pembukaannya, Sabtu (18/10/2025) malam. Akibatnya, suasana riuh rendah pesta rakyat berubah seketika menjadi kepanikan dan tangisan.
Namun, ada kabar baik di tengah musibah ini. Segera setelah kejadian, semua korban langsung dievakuasi dan berhasil mendapatkan perawatan medis di Puskesmas Air Upas. Meskipun demikian, laporan terakhir menyebutkan kondisi korban bervariasi, mulai dari luka ringan hingga luka sedang. Oleh karena itu, pihak berwenang dengan sigap telah bergerak untuk menyelidiki akar masalahnya.
Sebagai langkah pertama, Kapolres Ketapang AKBP Muhammad Harris dengan tegas menyatakan bahwa pihaknya akan memeriksa pemilik wahana permainan tersebut. Lebih lanjut, Harris menjelaskan, “Kami telah mengamankan lokasi kejadian, melakukan olah TKP, serta akan memanggil penanggung jawab wahana dan sejumlah saksi yang berada di lokasi untuk dimintai keterangan,” ungkap Harris dalam keterangan tertulisnya pada Minggu (19/10/2025). Dengan kata lain, kepolisian tidak akan main-main dalam menangani kasus ini.
Selain itu, sebagai tindakan pencegahan yang sangat penting, Kapolres Harris juga mengumumkan penutupan sementara untuk seluruh wahana permainan di lokasi pasar malam tersebut. “Penutupan dilakukan untuk kepentingan olah TKP dan pemeriksaan sarana permainan yang mengalami kerusakan,” tegas Harris. Alhasil, pengunjung yang berencana mencoba wahana lain pasti akan kecewa, namun langkah ini diambil untuk menjamin keselamatan publik.
Sementara itu, lokasi kejadian sebenarnya berada di tempat yang cukup strategis. Wahana Rainbow Slide yang roboh itu diketahui berdiri dengan megahnya di halaman Kantor Kecamatan Air Upas. Pada saat insiden terjadi, yaitu sekitar pukul 20.00 WIB, wahana tersebut sedang dipadati oleh pengunjung yang antusias menikmati malam pembukaan. Tiba-tiba saja, struktur wahana itu tidak mampu lagi menahan beban dan ambruk.
Begitu laporan masuk, polisi dari Polsubsektor Air Upas langsung berlari menuju lokasi. Mereka kemudian dengan cepat mengevakuasi semua korban yang tertimpa reruntuhan wahana. Selanjutnya, korban segera dibawa ke Puskesmas setempat untuk mendapatkan pertolongan medis pertama. Tindakan cepat aparat inilah yang diduga menjadi alasan utama tidak ada korban jiwa dalam insiden ini.
Di sisi lain, respons pun datang dari pucuk pimpinan daerah. Bupati Ketapang Alexander Wilyo secara khusus menyampaikan duka dan keprihatinan mendalam atas insiden yang mengejutkan ini. “Atas nama pribadi dan pemerintah daerah, saya menyampaikan rasa duka dan empati kepada seluruh korban dan keluarga yang terdampak,” ujar Alexander dengan wajah serius. Beliau menegaskan bahwa keselamatan warga adalah prioritas utama.
Selain itu, Alexander Wilyo juga memaparkan langkah-langkah penanganan yang telah diambil. Menurutnya, tenaga medis Puskesmas Air Upas telah bergerak sangat cepat memberikan penanganan kepada korban. Proses evakuasi dan penanganan ini juga dibantu secara langsung oleh Forkopimcam Air Upas yang turun ke lokasi untuk memastikan situasi tetap kondusif dan tidak terjadi kepanikan tambahan.
Selanjutnya, Bupati Alexander juga mengimbau masyarakat agar tetap tenang. “Kami mengimbau masyarakat agar tetap tenang dan memberikan kepercayaan penuh kepada tenaga medis serta aparat kepolisian yang sedang melakukan penyelidikan menyeluruh,” pesan Alexander. Beliau memahami kekhawatiran masyarakat, namun memastikan bahwa investigasi akan dilakukan secara transparan dan menyeluruh.
Yang paling penting, Bupati menegaskan komitmennya untuk menindak tegas jika ditemukan kelalaian. “Saya tegaskan, apabila ditemukan adanya kelalaian atau pelanggaran hukum, maka hal itu akan ditindaklanjuti sesuai ketentuan yang berlaku,” tegasnya tanpa kompromi.
