BALIKPAPAN, Desapenari.id – Niat hati mau untung besar, dua pria di Kutai Kartanegara ini malah berurusan dengan polisi setelah kepergok menjual buah sawit curian langsung ke perusahaan yang jadi pemilik kebunnya. Ya, percaya atau enggak, kisah kocak sekaligus nahas ini benar-benar terjadi di Samboja!
Dua pria paruh baya ini, RW (35) yang akrab disapa Ito dan DL (49) atau Udin Tato, kini harus mendekam di sel tahanan Mapolsek Samboja. Mereka diamankan aparat kepolisian setelah nekat menjual 67 janjang buah sawit segar hasil curian dari areal perkebunan PT AJP di Kelurahan Senipah, Kecamatan Samboja, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Kalimantan Timur. Yang bikin geleng-geleng kepala, mereka menjualnya kembali ke perusahaan yang sama!
Kapolsek Samboja AKP Sarlendra Satria Yudha membeberkan kronologi kejadian ini kepada awak media, Selasa (17/3/2026) kemarin. Peristiwa penangkapan ini bermula pada Senin (16/3/2026) pagi sekitar pukul 09.15 WITA, saat kedua pelaku dengan pedenya membawa mobil pick-up bermuatan buah sawit menuju area loading ramp atau tempat sortasi perusahaan.
“Kecurigaan petugas langsung muncul begitu melihat muatan yang diantar kedua pelaku. Asisten perusahaan, Erwin Schrodinger Ginting bersama rekannya Yoga, langsung mencium kejanggalan,” jelas Sarlendra dengan nada heran.
Stempel Perusahaan Jadi Petaka
Nah, yang bikin cerita ini makin absurd, buah sawit seberat 852 kilogram itu ternyata masih menempel stempel resmi milik PT AJP! Coba bayangkan, stempel yang biasanya jadi tanda kelengkapan administrasi panen, malah jadi barang bukti yang menjebloskan mereka ke penjara. Enggak sampai di situ, kendaraan yang mereka gunakan—mobil Daihatsu Grand Max hitam bernomor polisi KT 8489 UR—juga langsung menyedot perhatian karena ternyata bukan termasuk armada operasional perusahaan.
Begitu petugas melakukan pengecekan lebih lanjut di lapangan, fakta mengejutkan pun terungkap. Puluhan janjang sawit tersebut ternyata berasal dari kebun Afdeling 3 Blok C26, C28, dan C29 yang jelas-jelas merupakan milik PT AJP. Waduh, auto ketahuan, kan?
Manajemen perusahaan yang merasa dirugikan pun tak tinggal diam. Mereka segera melaporkan kejadian ini ke Polsek Samboja untuk ditindaklanjuti. Apalagi modus operandinya terbilang unik: mencuri dari kebun sendiri lalu menjualnya kembali ke perusahaan yang sama. Sungguh langkah yang nekat!
Digerebek di Rumah Tanpa Perlawanan
Unit Reskrim Polsek Samboja yang sigap menerima laporan langsung bergerak cepat. Tim gabungan segera menuju kediaman DL di Kampung Kamal, Kelurahan Senipah. Tanpa perlawanan berarti, pelaku pertama berhasil diamankan.
Saat proses interogasi berlangsung, DL pun mengakui semua perbuatannya dengan gamblang. Ia mengaku mencuri buah sawit tersebut bersama RW menggunakan mobil Grand Max hitam kesayangan mereka. Setelah sukses memanen dari kebun perusahaan, mereka justru balik arah membawa hasil curian itu ke areal perusahaan yang sama untuk ditimbang dan dijual. Benar-benar seperti sindikat yang bingung mau jual ke mana!
Tak butuh waktu lama, polisi langsung mengamankan RW dari lokasi terpisah untuk menjalani pemeriksaan lebih lanjut. Keduanya kini harus merasakan dinginnya sel tahanan Polsek Samboja.
Sita Mobil, Alat Panen, hingga Nota Penjualan
Tak hanya mengamankan kedua pelaku, petugas juga menyita sederet barang bukti yang cukup mencengangkan. Pertama, satu unit mobil Daihatsu Grand Max hitam bernomor polisi KT 8489 UR lengkap dengan kunci dan STNK-nya. Kemudian, dua buah tojo—alat pengangkat sawit berbahan baja nirkarat—yang biasa digunakan untuk memudahkan proses panen.
Yang lebih mencengangkan, polisi juga mengamankan 67 janjang buah sawit segar yang baru saja mereka curi. Selain itu, ada tiga lembar salinan nota penjualan dan satu lembar nota timbangan yang menjadi bukti kuat transaksi ilegal mereka.
“Semua barang bukti ini kami amankan untuk proses penyidikan lebih lanjut,” tegas Sarlendra sambil menunjukkan tumpukan barang bukti di Mapolsek Samboja.
Jeratan Hukum yang Menanti
Kini, kedua pelaku harus mempertanggungjawabkan perbuatan konyol mereka di hadapan hukum. Penyidik Polsek Samboja menjerat mereka dengan Pasal 107 huruf d Undang-Undang Nomor 39 Tahun 2014 tentang Perkebunan subsider Pasal 477 ayat (1) huruf g Undang-Undang Nomor 1 Tahun 2023 tentang KUHP terkait pencurian dengan bersekutu.
Ancaman hukumannya pun tak main-main. Bisa dibayangkan, daripada repot-repot mencuri dan akhirnya berurusan dengan aparat penegak hukum, lebih baik bekerja secara jujur dan halal. Apalagi kalau sampai menjual hasil curian ke pemiliknya sendiri—ini sih level keberanian yang salah alamat banget!
Kejadian ini sekaligus menjadi pengingat bagi kita semua bahwa teknologi sederhana seperti stempel perusahaan bisa menjadi alat yang ampuh untuk mengungkap kejahatan. Di era serba canggih ini, memang sulit bagi pelaku kejahatan untuk lolos dari jerat hukum. Apalagi kalau modusnya segambreng ini.
Polsek Samboja sendiri mengapresiasi kejelian petugas sortasi dan manajemen PT AJP yang cepat melapor. Kolaborasi antara pihak keamanan perusahaan dan aparat kepolisian terbukti efektif mengungkap kasus ini hanya dalam hitungan jam.
“Kami mengimbau kepada seluruh perusahaan perkebunan di wilayah Kukar untuk lebih meningkatkan sistem pengamanan internalnya. Jangan ragu melapor jika menemukan kejanggalan-kejanggalan di lapangan,” pungkas Sarlendra mengakhiri keterangannya.
Kisah Ito dan Udin Tato ini layak jadi bahan renungan: kalau mau untung, cari cara yang halal. Jangan sampai karena tergiur keuntungan instan, malah harus menanggung malu seumur hidup dan berurusan dengan jeruji besi. Apalagi sampai stempel perusahaan jadi saksi bisu kejahatan sendiri—alah bisa karena biasa, alah ketahuan karena stempel!
