JAKARTA, desapenari.id — Ketum FBR: “Ini Soal Individu, Bukan Organisasi”. Sorotan publik kembali menyasar organisasi masyarakat (ormas) setelah polisi menangkap sejumlah anggotanya terkait kasus pemerasan. Kali ini, Forum Betawi Rempug (FBR) menjadi sorotan setelah empat anggotanya diamankan karena diduga memalak pedagang di Bojongsari, Depok.
Di tengah kecaman yang bermunculan, Ketua Umum FBR Lutfi Hakim justru bersikap tenang. Ia tidak langsung melepas tanggung jawab, tetapi juga tidak membenarkan tindakan anggotanya. Yang ia lakukan adalah menyerahkan segalanya kepada proses hukum sambil menegaskan bahwa FBR tidak membenarkan premanisme.
“Biarkan hukum yang bekerja karena tindak kriminal ini masalah oknum, bukan soal etnis, agama, atau organisasi,” tegas Lutfi saat dihubungi Kompas.com, Sabtu (17/5/2025).
Pernyataan itu ia sampaikan menanggapi penangkapan Ketua FBR Cabang Bojongsari berinisial M, Sekjen AK alias W, serta dua anggota lain, NN dan RS. Mereka terancam jerat hukum atas dugaan pemerasan, sementara satu orang lainnya, IM alias P, masih buron.
Meski tidak membela kesalahan mereka, Lutfi menegaskan bahwa FBR akan memberikan pendampingan hukum. Bukan untuk membenarkan tindakan mereka, melainkan memastikan hak-hak anggotanya terpenuhi.

“Sebagai organisasi, kami wajib memastikan mereka mendapat pembelaan hukum yang adil. Tapi tentu saja, kami tidak membenarkan tindakan melawan hukum,” jelasnya.
Bagi Lutfi, kasus ini menjadi alarm bagi FBR untuk melakukan evaluasi internal. Ia mengaku akan meninjau ulang keanggotaan para pelaku, termasuk kemungkinan pencabutan Kartu Tanda Anggota (KTA) atau pemberhentian.
“Kami punya mekanisme tegas, mulai dari KTA nonaktif sampai pemecatan,” tegasnya.
Tak hanya penanganan hukum, Lutfi menyatakan FBR akan memperketat pembinaan karakter anggota. Ia meyakini, pendidikan moral adalah kunci menjaga nama baik organisasi.
“Peristiwa ini jadi pengingat untuk terus memperbaiki diri,” ujarnya.
Sebelumnya, Direktorat Reserse Kriminal Umum Polda Metro Jaya mengamankan empat anggota FBR dalam operasi pemerasan di Bojongsari, Depok, Jumat (16/5/2025). Polisi menyita sejumlah barang bukti, seperti kuitansi, stempel ormas, ponsel, hingga proposal kegiatan.
Kini, para tersangka menghadapi pemeriksaan intensif dengan tuduhan Pasal 368 dan/atau Pasal 335 KUHP tentang pemerasan dan perbuatan tidak menyenangkan.
