Ketua MUI setempat, Kiai Aminudin, langsung memimpin kegiatan ini untuk memperbaiki akhlak dan moral para jukir liar tersebut.

AKBP Moh Faruk Rozi, Kapolres Tasikmalaya Kota, menegaskan bahwa langkah ini bertujuan mencegah tindakan melanggar hukum. “Kami ingin mereka sadar dan tidak lagi melakukan aktivitas ilegal,” ujarnya. Faruk menambahkan, selama ini para jukir liar beroperasi tanpa izin resmi dari pemerintah. Selain itu, polisi sedang menyelidiki dugaan keterlibatan ormas dalam praktik premanisme yang marak di Tasikmalaya.
Polisi menemukan rompi, peluit, serta uang hasil parkir liar senilai Rp 1 juta saat mengamankan para jukir tersebut. “Ini bukti bahwa praktik parkir liar masih merajalela di seluruh wilayah kota,” tegas Faruk. Kapolres memerintahkan seluruh polsek untuk terus memantau aktivitas mereka agar tidak kembali ke jalanan. “Kami juga akan berkoordinasi dengan pemangku kepentingan untuk memastikan mereka tidak mengulangi perbuatannya,” jelasnya.
Faruk mengajak masyarakat untuk aktif melaporkan tindakan premanisme yang meresahkan. “Kami siap menindak tegas pelaku, baik perorangan maupun kelompok,” tegasnya. Ia menekankan bahwa keamanan dan ketertiban adalah tanggung jawab bersama, bukan hanya polisi.

Sementara itu, Kiai Aminudin menyatakan bahwa perubahan perilaku tidak bisa instan. “Ini proses panjang yang harus didukung semua pihak,” ujarnya. Ia menyarankan agar ada pendataan lebih mendalam untuk membedakan antara mereka yang benar-benar membutuhkan penghasilan dan yang sekadar iseng. “Kita harus cari solusi jangka panjang, misalnya dengan memberikan pelatihan kerja atau bantuan modal,” tambahnya.
Polres Tasikmalaya berupaya menekan praktik premanisme sekaligus menyadarkan para pelaku untuk beralih ke pekerjaan legal melalui langkah ini.
