Thailand-Kamboja Siap Negosiasi di Malaysia!

Desapenari.id – Pemerintah Thailand baru saja mengumumkan perkembangan penting: kedua negara akan menggelar perundingan damai di Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, besok Senin (28/7/2025). Pertemuan ini mendesak karena konflik bersenjata di perbatasan telah menewaskan 34 orang dan mengusir lebih dari 200.000 warga dari rumah mereka.

Pemimpin Siap Bertemu, ASEAN Turun Tangan

Penjabat PM Thailand Phumtham Wechayachai dan PM Kamboja Hun Manet dijadwalkan bertemu pukul 15.00 waktu setempat. Menariknya, PM Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim akan memimpin mediasi ini sekaligus mewakili ASEAN. Namun, Kamboja belum memberikan konfirmasi resmi tentang kesiapan mereka.

Sengketa Kuil Kuno Picu Konflik Berkepanjangan

Masalah ini sebenarnya sudah berakar lama. Sejak Kamis (24/7/2025), ketegangan memanas akibat klaim atas kuil-kuil kuno di perbatasan. Kedua pihak kemudian berhadapan dengan kekuatan penuh – mulai dari jet tempur, tank, hingga pasukan darat – di wilayah pedesaan yang dipenuhi hutan dan perkebunan.

Donald Trump Ikut Campur: Ancaman dan Janji Dagang

Presiden AS Donald Trump tak mau ketinggalan. Setelah menelepon kedua pemimpin Sabtu malam, ia mengklaim keduanya sepakat mengupayakan gencatan senjata. Di Twitter, Trump menulis: “Begitu damai tercapai, saya siap buat perjanjian dagang menguntungkan dengan mereka!”

Tapi dibalik rayuan itu, Trump menyimpan ancaman. Ia mengancam akan mengenakan tarif tinggi jika kedua negara gagal berdamai.

Pertempuran Terus Berlanjut, Warga Panik Mengungsi

Meski ada pembicaraan damai, pertempuran justru meledak lagi Minggu pagi di sekitar kuil-kuil perbatasan. Kamboja melalui juru bicara Maly Socheata menuding Thailand memulai serangan pukul 04.50. Sebaliknya, pihak Thailand melalui Ritcha Suksuwanon menyatakan Kamboja lebih dulu menembak pukul 04.00.

Kengerian terlihat jelas di wajah warga. “Kami lari begitu saja, tak sempat bawa banyak barang,” kata Maefah (61) sambil gemetar di pengungsian Provinsi Surin. “Semua tetangga sudah pergi. Kampung kami seperti kota hantu sekarang.”

Di sisi Kamboja, dentuman meriam masih terdengar hingga kota Samraong yang berjarak 20 km dari medan perang.

Saling Tuduh Terus Berlanjut

Kedua pihak memang mengaku ingin gencatan senjata, tapi saling tuding tak berhenti. Hun Manet menyatakan kesediaan tanpa syarat, sementara Phumtham mengatakan prinsipnya setuju.

Namun Kementerian Luar Negeri Thailand tiba-tiba melontarkan tuduhan baru: pasukan Kamboja menembaki permukiman sipil di Surin. “Mustahil berdamai jika mereka terus begini,” tegas pernyataan resmi.

Maly Socheata langsung membalas: “Justru Thailand yang merencanakan serangan ini.”

Data terbaru menunjukkan Thailand kehilangan 8 tentara dan 13 sipil, sementara Kamboja kehilangan 5 militer dan 8 warga.
