Surabaya (Desapenari.id) – Tanpa basa-basi lagi, Kapolda Jawa Timur, Irjen Pol Nanang Avianto, langsung menegaskan bahwa kericuhan yang terjadi di depan Gedung Negara Grahadi, Surabaya, pada Jumat (28/8) sama sekali tidak mencerminkan aspirasi murni komunitas ojek online (ojol). Menurutnya, aksi yang justru berlangsung sangat damai di Mapolda Jatim membuktikan hal tersebut.

Dengan penuh keyakinan, Nanang mengajak para wartawan yang hadir untuk membandingkan kedua aksi tersebut. “Coba lihat, kawan-kawan!” ujarnya saat ditemui di Mapolda Jatim, Jumat malam. “Yang di Grahadi dan yang di sini sangat berbeda. Di Polda, ini ojol semua, benar-benar murni, kondusif, dan tanpa masalah. Kami pun sangat terbuka dan menampung semua aspirasi mereka dengan baik,” jelasnya.

Lebih lanjut, jenderal bintang dua ini mengingatkan bahwa kericuhan di sekitar Grahadi justru menimbulkan banyak pertanyaan besar. Pasalnya, aksi tersebut justru berakhir dengan pengrusakan fasilitas umum dan merusak simbol kebesaran Provinsi Jawa Timur yang seharusnya dijaga bersama oleh seluruh masyarakat.

“Jangan sampai ojol justru didiskreditkan!” tegas Nanang. “Buktinya sudah jelas, aksi di Polda berjalan murni, tertib, dan penuh aspirasi. Sementara yang di Grahadi sangat berbeda. Kami akan menginvestigasi siapa saja pelaku di balik kerusuhan ini, karena mereka telah merusak simbol provinsi yang sangat kita junjung,” tambahnya.

Sebelum kericuhan terjadi, Nanang menegaskan bahwa aparat telah melakukan berbagai upaya persuasif jauh sebelum akhirnya mengerahkan gas air mata. “Kami sudah berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk menghindari eskalasi,” katanya.

Satu-satunya yang kami gunakan adalah gas air mata, itu pun hanya untuk membuat massa mundur dan situasi bisa terkendali,” jelasnya.

Di akhir pernyataannya, Nanang mengajak seluruh elemen masyarakat Jawa Timur untuk bersama-sama menjaga kondusivitas dan tidak merusak fasilitas publik yang merupakan milik bersama. “Daripada dana masyarakat dipakai untuk memperbaiki fasilitas umum yang dirusak, lebih baik dialokasikan untuk kesehatan, pendidikan, dan kesejahteraan warga. Saya yakin, seluruh warga Jawa Timur pasti sayang Jawa Timur. Ayo, kita jaga bersama!” serunya.
