MANADO, Desapenari.id – Aksi penyelundupan emas internasional berhasil digagalkan petugas gabungan di Bandara Internasional Sam Ratulangi Manado. Dua warga negara asing (WNA) asal China kini mendekam di sel tahanan setelah kepergok membawa 16 batang emas murni yang diduga hasil tambang ilegal. Kabid Humas Polda Sulut, Kombes Pol Alamsyah P. Hasibuan, dengan tegas mengungkapkan bahwa penangkapan dramatis ini berawal dari informasi panas yang diterima Tim URC Polda Sulut pada hari Jumat itu juga. “Informasi mengenai dugaan penyelundupan emas melalui Bandara Sam Ratulangi menuju Singapura dan Hongkong langsung kami tindaklanjuti dengan cepat,” ujar Alamsyah dalam konferensi pers yang digelar di Aula Tribrata Polda Sulut, Sabtu (5/9/2026).
Mendengar laporan tersebut, tim gabungan pun bergerak kilat tanpa membuang waktu. Mereka berkoordinasi intensif dengan pihak manajemen Bandara Sam Ratulangi untuk melakukan pemantauan ketat dan pengawasan super ketat terhadap seluruh calon penumpang. Benar saja, sekitar pukul 12.00 Wita, dua koper mencurigakan milik tersangka berhasil terdeteksi saat melewati mesin X-Ray di area check-in. Petugas bandara yang sigap langsung melakukan pemeriksaan lebih mendalam dan mendapati puluhan batangan emas mengilap tersembunyi rapi di dalam koper tersebut.
Yang lebih mengejutkan lagi, hasil pemeriksaan awal mengungkap bahwa kedua WNA China ini ternyata hanya menjalankan perintah dari seseorang berinisial H. “Mereka diperintahkan oleh sosok misterius berinisial H untuk membawa kabur emas hasil pertambangan ilegal ini keluar dari wilayah Indonesia,” jelas Alamsyah didampingi jajaran petinggi kepolisian lainnya, seperti Dirreskrimsus Kombes Pol FX Winardi Prabowo, Dirreskrimum Kombes Pol Suryadi, serta perwakilan dari Imigrasi dan Bea Cukai yang turut hadir dalam konferensi pers tersebut.
Tak tanggung-tanggung, selain menyita 16 batang emas seberat total sekitar 16 kilogram, petugas juga mengamankan berbagai barang bukti lain yang tak kalah mencengangkan. Dua paspor asing, empat kartu tanda pengenal, dua lembar boarding pass rute Manado–Singapura, dan dua lembar boarding pass lain untuk perjalanan Singapura–Hongkong berhasil diamankan. Tak hanya itu, lima unit ponsel pintar yang terdiri dari tiga iPhone dan dua Xiaomi, dua unit koper besar, serta uang tunai sebesar Rp 5 juta juga ikut disita sebagai barang bukti kuat dalam kasus ini.
Dengan seluruh temuan mengerikan ini, kedua pelaku langsung dijerat dengan pasal berat. Polisi menerapkan Pasal 161 Undang-Undang Nomor 3 Tahun 2020 tentang Perubahan atas Undang-Undang Nomor 4 Tahun 2009 tentang Pertambangan Mineral dan Batubara. Ancaman hukumannya bikin nyali ciut! Mereka terancam pidana penjara maksimal lima tahun dan denda fantastis mencapai Rp 100.000.000.000,00 atau seratus miliar rupiah! “Kami tidak akan mentolerir segala bentuk tindak pidana pertambangan ilegal yang merugikan negara dan masyarakat,” tegas Alamsyah dengan penuh penekanan. Pihak kepolisian juga masih terus mengembangkan kasus ini untuk memburu otak utama di balik perintah pengiriman emas ilegal tersebut, yaitu sosok berinisial H yang hingga kini masih dalam pengejaran.
