Pemilik Puthu Lanang, Endang Setyo Rini, mengungkapkan bahwa orang tuanya merintis usaha ini, yang terus berkembang dan selalu ramai pembeli. Setiap hari, ia bersama beberapa karyawan menjual sekitar 500 hingga 600 porsi jajanan tradisional.
“Kami buka pukul 17.30 WIB sampai 21.30 WIB pada hari biasa. Kalau bulan puasa, kami mulai lebih awal pukul 16.30 WIB hingga 21.30 WIB. Tapi sering kali sebelum jam tutup, jajanan sudah habis,” ujar Rini kepada detikJatim, Sabtu (22/3/2025).

Nama Puthu Lanang sudah terkenal di Malang Raya dan luar kota. Beberapa pejabat serta artis bahkan pernah mampir untuk menikmati jajanan khas ini. Keunikan dan cita rasa yang khas membuat tempat ini terus menjadi favorit pecinta kuliner tradisional.
Rini menjual setiap jenis kudapan, seperti putu, lupis, cenil, dan klepon, dengan harga Rp 15 ribu per porsi.
Melayani Pesanan Khusus
Selain menjual jajanan per porsi, Rini juga menerima pesanan dalam bentuk tumpeng. Rini biasanya membuat pesanan ini untuk acara khusus, seperti buka puasa bersama atau hajatan keluarga.
“Kalau pesanan dalam bentuk tumpeng, saya kerjakan di rumah dan biasanya dikirim pagi hari. Saat bulan puasa, banyak yang memesan untuk buka bersama atau acara keluarga,” kata Rini.
