SEMARANG, Desapenari.id – Atasi Banjir di Demak. Kepala Balai Besar Wilayah Sungai (BBWS) Pemali-Juwana, Fikri Abdurachman, mengungkapkan bahwa pihaknya belum mengalokasikan dana untuk normalisasi sungai di Demak, termasuk Sungai Sayung dan Kali Tuntang yang sering memicu banjir rob. “Kalau untuk normalisasi Sayung, kami belum punya anggarannya. Sedangkan Kali Tuntang sedang kami usulkan,” jelas Fikri usai rapat di Kantor Gubernur Jawa Tengah, Senin (26/5/2025).
Meski sudah mengajukan proposal, Fikri menegaskan bahwa nominalnya belum pasti karena belum masuk dalam rencana anggaran nasional. “Sungai Wulan sudah dapat Rp 1 triliun, tapi Kali Tuntang belum. Nilainya mungkin lebih kecil, tapi kami belum bisa pastikan karena belum ada di penganggaran,” tambahnya.

Saat ini, proyek normalisasi Sungai Wulan sedang berjalan dengan pendanaan hibah dari Bank Pembangunan Asia (ADB). Bahkan, tim ADB sudah meninjau Kali Tuntang sebagai calon proyek lanjutan. “Misi ADB sudah melihat Kali Tuntang. Nanti mungkin bisa dianggarkan, tapi jumlahnya tak sebesar Sungai Wulan,” ujar Fikri.
Fikri mengakui bahwa pembangunan tol Semarang-Demak, yang juga berfungsi sebagai tanggul, belum sepenuhnya mengatasi rob di Sayung. Oleh karena itu, dia mendukung rencana Bupati Demak untuk membangun tanggul laut terpisah. “Kami sedang cari pendanaan, bisa dari APBN, pinjaman asing, atau sumber lain. Tapi sampai sekarang belum ada kepastian,” paparnya.
Fikri menjelaskan bahwa meski pompa air sudah beroperasi, banjir rob masih sering terjadi karena sedimentasi di Sungai Sayung sangat tinggi. “Normalisasi Kali Sayung sudah dilakukan tahun 2021, tapi sedimentasinya masih banyak. Bupati sudah minta kami usulkan lagi, dan kami akan upayakan,” jelasnya.

Bupati Demak, Eistianah, mengungkapkan bahwa pihaknya sudah mengajukan Detail Engineering Design (DED) senilai Rp 1,7 triliun untuk pembangunan tanggul laut di Sayung. “DED 2024 sudah kami siapkan. Rencananya, tahun ini harusnya ada anggaran untuk tanggul laut di luar tol. Kami sudah ajukan ke Bappenas, tapi dananya belum turun,” ujarnya.
Selain itu, Eistianah juga mengusulkan pengerukan sedimentasi di Sungai Dombo dan Sungai Pelayaran untuk mengurangi dampak banjir rob di pesisir Demak. “Ini solusi jangka pendek yang kami dorong agar warga tak terus-terusan kebanjiran,” tandasnya.
Dengan berbagai usulan yang sudah diajukan, warga Demak berharap pemerintah segera merealisasikan proyek normalisasi dan pembangunan tanggul. “Kami butuh solusi cepat, bukan sekadar wacana,” kata salah seorang warga Sayung yang kerap terdampak banjir.
Sementara itu, BBWS Pemali-Juwana berjanji terus berkoordinasi dengan pemerintah pusat dan daerah untuk mempercepat penanganan banjir di Demak. “Kami berupaya maksimal, tapi semua tergantung ketersediaan anggaran,” pungkas Fikri.
