MOGADISHU, Desapenari.id – Dalam gebrakan kontroversial yang mengguncang peta politik Afrika, kelompok milisi Al Shabaab di Somalia secara resmi mengumumkan diri sebagai musuh terbaru Israel. Keputusan mereka ini secara langsung merupakan respons atas langkah provokatif Perdana Menteri Benjamin Netanyahu yang mengakui kemerdekaan Somaliland pada Jumat (26/12/2025). Tanpa basa-basi, Al Shabaab langsung menyatakan kesiapan tempurnya pada Sabtu (27/12/2025). Mereka pun bersumpah akan menentang habis-habisan segala bentuk upaya Israel untuk memanfaatkan wilayah Somaliland. Perlu Anda ketahui, langkah Netanyahu ini benar-benar bersejarah karena menjadikan Israel sebagai negara pertama di dunia yang mengakui pemisahan Somaliland dari Somalia sejak 1991.
Dengan nada penuh ancaman, juru bicara Al Shabaab, Ali Dheere, menegaskan sikap kelompoknya. “Kami sama sekali tidak akan menerimanya, dan kami akan melawannya dengan segala cara,” ujarnya seperti dikutip dari AFP. Menurut Dheere, pengakuan Israel terhadap Somaliland ini bukanlah sekadar bentuk dukungan diplomatik biasa, melainkan cerminan dari upaya terselubung Israel untuk memperluas pengaruhnya ke wilayah Tanduk Afrika. Selain itu, ia juga menyayangkan dengan sangat sikap sebagian warga Somalia yang justru menyambut antusias pengakuan tersebut. “Sungguh, ini adalah penghinaan tingkat tertinggi hari ini, ketika kita melihat sebagian warga Somalia sendiri malah merayakan pengakuan dari Perdana Menteri Israel Benjamin Netanyahu,” ucapnya dengan nada geram.
Konteksnya, Pemerintah Somalia sendiri telah memerangi kelompok Al Shabaab dengan gigih selama hampir dua dekade. Memang, kondisi keamanan di Ibu Kota Mogadishu belakangan menunjukkan perbaikan yang signifikan, namun fakta di lapangan menunjukkan bahwa konflik bersenjata masih terus berkecamuk dan merenggut korban di banyak daerah pedalaman. Akibatnya, dengan ditambahkannya perlawanan dari Al Shabaab ini, daftar musuh Israel di kawasan semakin panjang dan beragam. Kini, selain harus berhadapan dengan Hamas di Gaza, Hizbullah di Lebanon, kelompok Houthi di Yaman, dan Republik Islam Iran, Israel juga harus mempertimbangkan ancaman baru dari kelompok bersenjata di Afrika Timur.
Tidak hanya Al Shabaab, langkah Israel ini juga langsung mendapat kecaman keras dari Pemerintah Somalia yang berdaulat. Pemerintah Somalia secara tegas mengecam pengakuan sepihak Israel atas Somaliland. Mereka dengan lantang menyebut langkah itu sebagai bentuk pelanggaran nyata terhadap kedaulatan nasional yang tidak dapat ditolerir. Lebih jauh lagi, penolakan yang sama juga datang dari organisasi regional seperti Uni Afrika. Kepala Uni Afrika, Mahamoud Ali Youssouf, dengan tegas menegaskan prinsip penting untuk selalu menghormati batas-batas wilayah yang telah ada di Afrika. “Setiap upaya untuk merusak persatuan, kedaulatan, dan integritas teritorial Somalia jelas berisiko menciptakan preseden berbahaya dengan implikasi luas bagi perdamaian dan stabilitas di seluruh benua,” ujarnya sebagai peringatan.
Youssouf kemudian mempertegas kembali posisi resmi Uni Afrika. Ia menyatakan bahwa setiap bentuk inisiatif yang bertujuan mengakui Somaliland sebagai entitas independen harus secara mutlak ditolak oleh masyarakat internasional. “Somaliland tetap merupakan bagian integral dari Republik Federal Somalia,” tegasnya tanpa ambiguitas. Di sisi lain, kecaman internasional ternyata juga dilayangkan oleh negara-negara kunci seperti Turkiye dan Mesir. Pemerintah Ankara, melalui pernyataan resminya, menyebut pengakuan Israel itu sebagai bentuk campur tangan terang-terangan terhadap urusan dalam negeri Somalia yang tidak dapat dibiarkan.
Sementara itu, Kementerian Luar Negeri Mesir juga tidak ketinggalan untuk menyuarakan dukungan penuhnya bagi kedaulatan dan keutuhan wilayah Somalia. Dalam pernyataan resminya yang dikutip oleh berbagai media, mereka menegaskan, “Penghormatan terhadap persatuan, kedaulatan, dan integritas wilayah negara merupakan pilar fundamental stabilitas sistem internasional. Prinsip ini sama sekali tidak boleh dilanggar atau diabaikan dengan dalih apa pun.” Pernyataan dari Mesir ini semakin mengukuhkan posisi mayoritas negara-negara Arab dan Afrika yang menolak langkah unilateral Israel. Dengan demikian, langkah Netanyahu tidak hanya menambah musuh bersenjata, tetapi juga mengisolasi Israel secara diplomatik di forum internasional.
Analisis Ahli: Langkah Netanyahu ini, berdasarkan pengamatan para analis geopolitik, dinilai sangat berisiko dan penuh perhitungan. Di satu sisi, pengakuan terhadap Somaliland bisa jadi merupakan upaya Israel untuk membuka front diplomatik baru dan mengakses posisi strategis di Teluk Aden. Namun di sisi lain, tindakan ini secara langsung telah membangkitkan perlawanan dari aktor non-negara yang sangat militan seperti Al Shabaab. Skenario terburuknya, wilayah Somaliland bisa menjadi ajang proxy war baru. Yang pasti, langkah Netanyahu ini telah membuka kotak Pandora baru di Tanduk Afrika. Daftar musuh Israel memang bertambah, tetapi harga yang harus dibayar untuk keamanan dan stabilitas kawasan mungkin justru menjadi lebih mahal untuk semua pihak.
