Jakarta, Desapenari.id – Bareskrim Tangkap Sopir Truk Kurir 71 Kg Sabu di Jambi. Direktorat IV/Tindak Pidana Narkoba Bareskrim Polri berhasil mengungkap kembali peredaran narkotika jenis sabu. Kali ini, mereka menangkap seorang sopir truk berinisial F yang berperan sebagai kurir pengantar 71 kilogram sabu di Jambi.
Brigjen Eko Hadi Santoso, Direktur Tindak Pidana Narkoba Bareskrim Polri, menjelaskan bahwa timnya menangkap F di Jalan Lintas Sumatera, Desa Suban II, Kecamatan Batang Asam, Tanjung Jabung Barat, Jambi. “F menjalankan perintah dari tersangka Wawan yang sebelumnya sudah ditangkap oleh BNN,” jelas Brigjen Eko Hadi dalam keterangannya pada Rabu (7/5/2025).
Kronologi
, F sempat melarikan diri saat BNN menggrebek jaringan Edi alias MD. Saat itu, dia meninggalkan truk berisi 71 bungkus sabu dan berusaha menghilangkan jejak dengan menghapus semua kontak jaringan yang terhubung dengannya.
“F memodifikasi truk ini di Bireun, Aceh, dengan membuat kompartemen rahasia di belakang kabin truk,” ungkap Brigjen Eko.
Saat ini, Bareskrim Polri masih melakukan penyelidikan lebih lanjut untuk mengungkap seluruh jaringan ini. Mereka juga terus berkoordinasi dengan BNN terkait penangkapan F dan pengembangan kasus narkoba ini.
Pertama-tama, Bareskrim Polri berhasil mengungkap modus baru pengiriman narkoba melalui truk bermodifikasi kompartemen rahasia. Tak hanya itu, pelaku dengan cermat menghapus semua kontak jaringan dalam upaya menghilangkan jejak.
Di sisi lain, Brigjen Eko Hadi Santoso menjelaskan bahwa kasus ini terkait dengan jaringan besar yang sudah lama dipantau. Misalnya, penangkapan ini merupakan kelanjutan dari operasi BNN yang sebelumnya menangkap tersangka Wawan sebagai otak jaringan. Akibatnya, pelaku utama semakin terdesak dan kesulitan mengoperasikan bisnis haramnya.
Sementara itu, pengungkapan modus truk bermodifikasi ini menjadi temuan penting dalam pemberantasan narkoba. Dengan demikian, aparat kini lebih waspada terhadap berbagai modus pengiriman narkoba melalui kendaraan besar. Oleh karena itu, pemeriksaan kendaraan di jalur lintas Sumatera akan semakin diperketat.
