MAKASSAR, Desapenari.id – Dunia pendakian Indonesia diguncang! Pemandu legendaris Gunung Rinjani, Agam Rinjani, akhirnya memutuskan untuk turun gunung demi sebuah misi kemanusiaan yang sangat berbahaya. Belum lama ini, ia secara resmi bergabung dalam operasi pencarian dan penyelamatan (SAR) korban kecelakaan pesawat ATR 42-500 yang jatuh di kawasan ekstrem Gunung Bulusaraung, Kabupaten Pangkep, Sulawesi Selatan. Secara khusus, Agam dengan tegas menyatakan kesiapannya untuk langsung menerjang medan terjal guna memfokuskan pencarian pada titik-titik yang paling berisiko.
“(Fokus kami) satu: korban. Makanya, kami langsung berkoordinasi intensif dengan tim SAR utama. Intinya, apa pun yang bisa kami bantu, pasti kami bantu. Dan tim kami memang kami siapkan khusus untuk menghadapi medan terjal,” tegas Agam kepada para wartawan dengan penuh keyakinan pada Kamis (10/1/2026). Selanjutnya, ia memaparkan bahwa koordinasi dengan Basarnas telah ia lakukan untuk terlibat dalam operasi vertikal rescue yang super teknis. Bahkan, dengan komitmen tinggi, ia berjanji akan terus mencari sampai ada keputusan resmi untuk menghentikan operasi.
“Untuk strategi, kami akan mengambil posisi di area vertikal. Bahkan, kami sudah siap untuk menginap di atas sana selama beberapa hari sesuai kesepakatan tim nanti, khususnya di jalur vertikal yang paling menantang,” ujarnya sambil menjelaskan kesiapan mental timnya. Tidak main-main, dalam operasi berisiko tinggi ini, Agam membawa serta tiga anggota tim pilihannya yang berpengalaman. Selanjutnya, mereka akan langsung bergabung dengan kekuatan gabungan dari Korpala dan tim ahli dari Taman Nasional Bulusaraung yang sudah lebih dulu memahami lapangan.
“Rencananya, kami akan gabung di pos 9 yang terletak di jalur vertikal utama,” jelas Agam dengan rinci. “Ini adalah hari pertama kami tiba, setelah melakukan perjalanan jauh langsung dari Aceh,” tambahnya, menekankan kesigapan mereka. Sebelum benar-benar turun ke lapangan yang berbahaya, Agam mengungkapkan bahwa timnya telah melakukan briefing mendalam tentang metode pencarian yang akan diterapkan. Selain itu, semua perlengkapan penyelamatan vertikal juga telah mereka siapkan secara lengkap.
“Ada beberapa metode spesifik yang tadi sudah kami briefinkan, dan kami akan langsung terlibat. Kami juga membawa semua peralatan vertikal rescue yang lengkap,” ucapnya mantap. Namun demikian, Agam tidak menutup-nutupi tantangan berat yang akan dihadapi. Menurut penilaian ahli ini, kondisi medan yang ekstrem dan cuaca yang sangat tidak bersahabat akan menjadi kendala utama dalam proses pencarian dan evakuasi, baik untuk korban maupun serpihan pesawat.
“Jadi, selain medan yang terjal, cuaca di sini benar-benar mempersulit proses evakuasi. Kabut tebal dan angin kencang sering datang tanpa peringatan. Karena itu, prinsip safety adalah yang utama, bahkan ketika kita sedang berusaha menolong,” katanya mengingatkan. Oleh karena itu, di akhir wawancara, Agam dengan rendah hati meminta doa dan dukungan dari seluruh masyarakat. Harapannya, proses evakuasi dapat berjalan lancar dan semua korban segera dapat dievakuasi dari lokasi kecelakaan.
“Kami mohon doa dari seluruh rakyat Indonesia agar evakuasi dapat dipercepat dan semua korban berhasil kami turunkan dari atas gunung dengan selamat,” pintanya. Sebagai informasi, pesawat ATR 42-500 milik Indonesia Air Transport ini dilaporkan jatuh pada Sabtu (17/1/2026) dalam penerbangan dari Yogyakarta menuju Makassar. Pesawat yang mengangkut 10 orang—terdiri dari tujuh kru dan tiga penumpang—itu hilang kontak sebelum akhirnya diketahui menabrak lereng Gunung Bulusaraung. Hingga saat ini, sudah tiga korban berhasil ditemukan oleh tim gabungan.
