Manggarai Timur, Desapenari.id — Nasib jembatan penghubung antara Kampung Maki dan Dampek di jalur Trans Flores kini benar-benar memprihatinkan. Pasca gempa dahsyat yang mengguncang NTT, struktur jembatan itu terancam ambruk total kapan saja. Camat Lamba Leda Utara, Agustinus Supratman, dengan nada cemas melaporkan bahwa fondasi di sisi barat dan timur jembatan telah mengalami keretakan parah. Bahkan, secara kasatmata, terlihat celah memisahkan fondasi beton dengan tanah di sekitarnya—pemandangan yang langsung memicu kekhawatiran warga dan pengguna jalan.
Ketika tim Desapenari.id melakukan pemantauan langsung pada Kamis (20/8/2026), temuan di lapangan sungguh mengkhawatirkan. Sebuah retakan besar menganga di bagian timur persis setelah ujung jembatan. Namun, itu belum semuanya. Di sisi kiri dan kanan badan jalan, lubang-lubang gelap atau rongga-rongga berbahaya tampak menganga di bawah permukaan aspal. Kondisi ini jelas mengancam keselamatan setiap kendaraan yang nekat melintas.
“Yang paling kami khawatirkan sekarang adalah gempa susulan. Jika guncangan keras kembali terjadi dalam waktu dekat, lubang-lubang ini pasti akan semakin melebar, terutama di sisi timur. Bisa dipastikan, jembatan ini akan putus seketika,” ujar Agustinus dengan nada penuh kekhawatiran, Kamis siang.
Sejak gempa berkekuatan magnitudo 7,7 mengguncang wilayah Flores pada 15 Agustus 2026 lalu, jembatan ini sebenarnya masih difungsikan. Kendaraan roda empat dan roda dua sesekali masih terlihat melintas di atasnya. Namun, Agustinus dengan tegas mengingatkan bahwa kondisi saat ini tidak lagi bersahabat bagi kendaraan berat atau truk bermuatan besar. “Kami sudah menginstruksikan agar kendaraan besar dilarang melintas. Untuk motor dan mobil kecil, masih mungkin, tapi harus ekstra hati-hati. Soalnya rongga di bawah tanah itu sangat jelas terlihat, dan jika pengemudi memaksakan diri, bukan tidak mungkin roda akan terperosok masuk ke dalam lubang,” terangnya.
Dampaknya benar-benar terasa. Jembatan yang menjadi urat nadi perekonomian ini menghubungkan jalur Trans Flores dari Labuan Bajo hingga Maumere. Jika sampai ambruk, akses logistik dan mobilitas warga di wilayah terdampak gempa akan lumpuh total. “Bayangkan, kalau jembatan ini putus dan tidak bisa dilalui, situasi di wilayah gempa ini bakal semakin pelik dan sulit. Kami berharap pemerintah segera turun tangan,” pungkas Agustinus dengan nada mendesak.
Sementara itu, gempa susulan masih terus terjadi dengan frekuensi yang mengkhawatirkan. Warga di sekitar lokasi pun hidup dalam ketegangan, menanti langkah nyata dari otoritas terkait. Jembatan ini bukan sekadar struktur beton dan baja; ia adalah garis hidup bagi ribuan jiwa yang menggantungkan nasib pada kelancaran jalur Trans Flores. Kini, semuanya bergantung pada kecepatan penanganan dan kewaspadaan bersama.
Mengapa Jembatan Ini Begitu Krusial?

Wilayah NTT memang dikenal memiliki aktivitas seismik tinggi karena berada di zona tumbukan lempeng tektonik. Gempa magnitudo 7,7 yang terjadi pada 15 Agustus lalu menjadi pengingat keras akan kerentanan infrastruktur di kawasan ini. Namun, yang lebih mengkhawatirkan adalah rentetan gempa susulan yang terus menerus mengguncang, seolah tak mau berhenti memberikan tekanan pada struktur-struktur yang sudah rapuh.
Menurut catatan BMKG, hingga Kamis (20/8), telah terjadi puluhan gempa susulan dengan kekuatan bervariasi. Setiap guncangan kecil pun kini dianggap ancaman serius bagi jembatan yang fondasinya sudah retak-retak. “Ini seperti menunggu waktu saja. Getaran kecil pun bisa membuat keretakan merambat dan memperbesar rongga di bawah jalan,” jelas seorang teknisi sipil yang enggan disebutkan namanya.
Langkah Darurat yang Dibutuhkan
Kondisi darurat ini menuntut respons cepat dari berbagai pihak. Beberapa langkah yang seharusnya segera diambil antara lain:
Pertama, pemasangan rambu-rambu peringatan dan penghalang yang jelas di kedua ujung jembatan. Pengguna jalan harus mendapat informasi visual yang tegas tentang larangan bagi kendaraan berat. Saat ini, sosialisasi masih terbatas pada pemberitahuan lisan dan media lokal, yang tentu tidak cukup menjangkau seluruh pengendara.

Keempat, pendirian posko tanggap darurat di lokasi untuk memantau kondisi jembatan secara real-time. Setiap perubahan pada retakan atau pergeseran fondasi harus tercatat dan dianalisis untuk mengantisipasi momen kritis.
Kisah Warga yang Merasa Terjepit
Di balik angka dan peta struktur, ada cerita warga yang hidupnya terancam.
