“Saya tidak ingin berhenti, tapi ini bukan keputusan mudah,” katanya. “Lebih baik mundur terhormat daripada menunggu dipecat.”
Thu mengaku belum punya rencana jelas setelah keluar dari pemerintahan. Kini, hari-harinya di rumah terasa hampa dan tanpa arah.
Reformasi Birokrasi: Jalan Menuju Vietnam Modern
Ia menyebut langkah ini sebagai “tonggak sejarah strategis” untuk mewujudkan Vietnam sebagai negara sosialis modern dan sejahtera.
“Keputusan ini punya makna besar. Ini bagian dari jalan panjang menciptakan negara yang lebih bahagia,” tegas Lam.
Pemerintah meyakini, struktur birokrasi baru akan menyinergikan bisnis dan infrastruktur ekonomi, mempercepat pertumbuhan sosial-ekonomi. Faktanya, Vietnam mencatat pertumbuhan ekonomi 7,1% di 2024 dan menargetkan 8% di 2025. Ambisi mereka? Masuk kategori negara berpendapatan menengah pada 2030.

“Saya merasa seperti kehilangan identitas,” akui seorang mantan PNS yang enggan disebut namanya. “Negara butuh efisiensi, tapi kami butuh pekerjaan.”
