TANGERANG, Desapenari.id – Polres Metro Tangerang Kota resmi menjerat Assayid Bahar bin Smith sebagai tersangka utama dalam kasus dugaan penganiayaan yang menggemparkan. Lebih panas lagi, korban kejadian ini ternyata seorang anggota Barisan Ansor Serbaguna (Banser) Kota Tangerang yang hanya berniat baik. Bahkan, pihak kepolisian dengan tegas membeberkan fakta ini kepada publik. Kasat Reskrim Polres Metro Tangerang Kota, AKBP Awaludin Kanur, secara gamblang mengonfirmasi status tersangka Bahar saat dikonfirmasi pada Minggu (1/2/2026). “Kami tegaskan, Polres Metro Tangerang Kota telah menetapkan Bahar Bin Smith sebagai tersangka kasus dugaan penganiayaan,” tegas Awaludin, “Tindakan kriminal itu jelas dilakukannya terhadap seorang anggota Banser Kota Tangerang.”
Kemudian, mari kita tilik mundur ke akar masalahnya. Awaludin memaparkan dengan rinci bahwa insiden mencekam ini ternyata sudah terjadi cukup lama, tepatnya pada 21 September 2025. Saat itu, Bahar bin Smith tengah menghadiri sebuah acara di kawasan Cipondoh. Di sisi lain, sang korban yang merupakan anggota Banser datang ke lokasi dengan niatan yang sangat positif, yakni sekadar ingin mendengarkan ceramah Bahar. Namun sayangnya, Awaludin belum mengungkap lebih detail pemicu spesifik yang memulai dugaan penganiayaan tersebut. Meski demikian, fakta hukumnya sudah sangat kuat. Pasalnya, kasus ini tercatat resmi dalam Laporan Polisi Nomor: LP/B/1395/IX/2025/SPKT/Polres Metro Tangerang Kota yang dilaporkan oleh istri korban yang berinisial R.
Lalu, bagaimana kronologi sebenarnya? Awaludin menggambarkan adegan yang sangat memilukan. Ternyata, niat baik korban berubah menjadi malapetaka saat ia mencoba mendekat. Begitu sang anggota Banser itu maju dan hendak bersalaman dengan Bahar bin Smith sebagai bentuk penghormatan, tiba-tiba sekelompok orang yang mengawal acara tersebut secara kasar menghadang langkahnya. Tidak berhenti di situ, korban malah dibawa paksa ke sebuah ruangan terpisah. Di dalam ruangan itulah, terjadilah aksi kekerasan fisik yang tidak manusiawi hingga membuat korban babak belur.
Selanjutnya, kepolisian pun tidak main-main dalam menjerat pelaku. Bahar bin Smith kini disangkakan melanggar pasal-pasal berat Kitab Undang-Undang Hukum Pidana (KUHP). Secara spesifik, Pasal 170 KUHP tentang pengeroyokan dan/atau Pasal 351 KUHP tentang penganiayaan menjadi ancaman utama, yang dihubungkan dengan Pasal 55 KUHP tentang turut serta melakukan tindak pidana. Artinya, bukan hanya pelaku langsung yang bisa dijerat, namun semua pihak yang terlibat dan memfasilitasi penganiayaan itu juga akan berhadapan dengan hukum.
Kini, semua mata tertuju pada langkah selanjutnya. AKBP Awaludin Kanur menyatakan bahwa proses hukum telah bergulir secara resmi. “Kita sudah tetapkan tersangka dan mengirimkan panggilan resmi kepada tersangka, Bahar Bin Smith,” imbuhnya dengan penuh wibawa. Lebih detail lagi, panggilan itu meminta Bahar untuk hadir dan dimintai keterangan pada Rabu, 4 Februari 2026 mendatang. Dengan demikian, publik kini hanya bisa menunggu apakah sang tersangka akan memenuhi panggilan kepolisian atau justru mengambil langkah lain. Yang pasti, kasus ini telah menyita perhatian banyak pihak dan menjadi ujian bagi penegakan hukum yang setara.
Sebagai penutup, perlu kita garisbawahi pernyataan tegas AKBP Awaludin Kanur: “Kita sudah tetapkan tersangka dan mengirimkan panggilan kepada tersangka (Bahar Bin Smith) untuk hadir dimintai keterangan pada Rabu, 4 Februari 2026.” Pernyataan ini menunjukkan keseriusan aparat dalam menangani kasus kekerasan ini, terlepas dari status sosial atau popularitas pelaku. Mari kita tunggu bersama perkembangan lanjutan dari kasus yang mengguncang Tangerang ini. Harapannya, proses hukum berjalan transparan dan memberikan keadilan bagi korban serta keluarga. Bagaimanapun juga, kekerasan tidak boleh dibiarkan, apapun alasannya. Pada akhirnya, hukum harus ditegakkan demi kedamaian dan ketertiban masyarakat luas.
