BANGKA, Desapenari.id – Petugas kepolisian berhasil menggagalkan upaya penyelundupan narkoba setelah menemukan 11,5 kilogram sabu terdampar di pesisir Pantai Labu, Belinyu, Kabupaten Bangka, Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Narkoba dengan nilai fantastis, sekitar Rp 10 miliar itu, tersimpan rapi dalam kotak freezer dan disamarkan dalam kemasan teh.
Kapolda Bangka Belitung Irjen Hendro Pandowo membeberkan, pihaknya menemukan 12 bungkus teh China yang ternyata berisi sabu. “Total ada 17 bungkus, tapi hanya 12 yang berisi narkoba dengan berat sekitar 11,5 kilogram. Nilainya mencapai Rp 10 miliar,” tegas Hendro saat konferensi pers di Dermaga Polairud, Selasa (3/6/2025).
Ia menambahkan, penemuan ini berawal dari patroli rutin anggota Polairud pada 21 Mei 2025 di sekitar pelabuhan kecil Belinyu. Saat itu, petugas mencurigai sebuah barang yang teronggok di pinggir pantai.
“Awalnya, kami mengira itu sampah biasa. Petugas kemudian memeriksa lebih teliti dan menemukan 17 bungkus teh. Mereka membuka satu per satu dan mengidentifikasi 12 bungkus berisi sabu, sedangkan 5 bungkus sisanya kosong Kami juga menemukan bekas freezer di lokasi,” jelas Hendro.
Kapolda menduga, sabu tersebut sengaja dihanyutkan oleh sindikat narkoba sebagai bagian dari modus pengiriman. Biasanya, bandar akan meletakkan barang di titik tertentu, lalu pemesan mengambilnya. Namun, kali ini niat mereka gagal karena petugas lebih cepat menemukan paket mencurigakan itu.
“Kami yakin ini bagian dari transaksi narkoba laut.”Para bandar mengemas narkoba itu dalam freezer, kemudian sengaja melepasnya ke laut atau menitipkannya di titik temu yang telah mereka tentukan,” papar Hendro.
Kapal Patroli Jadi Senjata Andalan Polisi
Hendro memuji kinerja jajaran Dit Polairud yang berhasil mengungkap kasus ini. Dengan 21 kapal patroli, mereka mampu memantau perairan Bangka Belitung secara efektif. “Tanpa pengawasan ketat, barang ini mungkin sudah sampai ke tangan pengedar,” ujarnya.
Meski begitu, polisi masih menyelidiki asal-usul sabu tersebut dan memburu pelaku di baliknya.

Kasus ini membuktikan bahwa peredaran narkoba masih mengancam Bangka Belitung. Polisi pun berkomitmen memperketat pengawasan, terutama di pelabuhan kecil yang kerap jadi titik rawan penyelundupan.

Selain mengandalkan teknologi dan patroli, polisi juga meminta bantuan warga untuk menjadi mata dan telinga di lapangan. “Jika melihat barang mencurigakan, segera laporkan. Bersama-sama, kita bisa memerangi narkoba,” imbau Hendro.
Penemuan sabu di Pantai Labu ini menjadi pengingat bahwa kejahatan narkoba terus berkembang dengan modus baru.
