Di lokasi, Jenal mendengar langsung penuturan Nabila bahwa ia tidak bisa mengikuti ujian karena menunggak biaya sekolah di Desa Tamansari, Kabupaten Bogor.
“Begitu saya menerima pesan di Instagram bahwa anak ini tidak bisa ujian karena tunggakan, hati saya tergerak. Saya langsung datang diantar Pak Lurah dan menemui kepala sekolah di rumahnya,” ujar Jenal, seperti dikutip pada Rabu (7/5/2025).
Ia mengungkapkan bahwa dirinya langsung melunasi seluruh tunggakan Nabila agar ia dapat mengikuti ujian. Akhirnya, Nabila berhasil mengikuti ujian keesokan harinya.
“Kami menyelesaikan semua tunggakannya, dan dia bisa ikut ujian,” kata Jenal.
Lebih lanjut, Jenal menjelaskan bahwa Nabila ternyata merupakan siswi berprestasi di sekolahnya. Ia telah beberapa kali memenangkan perlombaan dan meraih piala serta piagam penghargaan.
Nabila sempat berbagi cerita tentang keputusannya karena tidak bisa mengikuti ujian. Bahkan, ia mengaku sempat berniat putus sekolah karena kesulitan ekonomi.
Selain membantu melunasi tunggakan sekolah, Jenal juga menawarkan pekerjaan kepada ayah Nabila yang bekerja sebagai juru parkir. Ia mengajaknya menjadi petugas kebersihan di Balai Kota Bogor dengan gaji dari kantong pribadinya.
Jenal menegaskan bahwa pemerintah selalu hadir untuk warga Kota Bogor, termasuk dalam kasus-kasus serupa. Ia berharap warga tidak merasa sendirian dalam menghadapi masalah.
“Bahkan jika ada kasus serupa di wilayah lain, insyaallah akan kami selesaikan. Apalagi jika menyangkut kesehatan dan pendidikan, karena mereka adalah generasi penerus menuju Indonesia emas,” tegasnya.
