Selain itu, Kapolres Kampar, AKBP Boby Putra Ramadhan Sebayang, dengan tegas mengungkap akar kejahatan ini. Motifnya murni dendam kesumat! Pada dasarnya, pelaku merasa sakit hati karena menduga korban memiliki hubungan terlarang dengan istrinya. “Pelaku benar-benar menyimpan dendam karena korban telah menjalin hubungan gelap dengan istri pelaku,” tegas Boby via pesan WhatsApp, Sabtu (13/12/2025). Tak hanya itu, pria bernama Putra ini bahkan merencanakan pembunuhan ini dengan matang. Pada akhirnya, niat jahatnya ia eksekusi dengan keji. Korban yang sehari-hari mencari nafkah sebagai tukang becak motor itu meregang nyawa justru di saat sedang berusaha mencari penumpang. Saat ini, pelaku telah berhasil diamankan di Mapolres Kampar beserta barang bukti utama: sebilah pisau belati yang masih menyisakan cerita horor.
Lalu, bagaimana kronologi kejadiannya? Kepala Satuan Reserse Kriminal (Kasatreskrim) Polres Kampar, AKP Gian Wiatma Jonimandala, membeberkan rincian kejadian yang memilukan ini. Ceritanya begini, pada Rabu (10/12/2025) sekitar pukul 14.00 WIB, Yapitri berangkat seperti biasa untuk mencari penumpang di Kelurahan Pasir Sialang, Kecamatan Bangkinang. Akan tetapi, waktu terus berlalu dan langit pun gelap. Hingga pukul 20.00 WIB, sang tukang becak tak kunjung pulang ke rumah. Alhasil, kepergiannya yang tak biasa ini membuat sang ibu risau dan cemas. Kemudian, esok paginya pada Kamis (11/12/2025), kabar buruk akhirnya datang. Kakak korban mendapat informasi tentang penemuan mayat di dalam parit di Desa Teratak Domo. Betapa terpukulnya keluarga ketika tiba di lokasi dan mengenali mayat berlumuran darah serta penuh luka tikaman itu sebagai Yapitri, sang adik. Tanpa menunggu lama, keluarga korban segera melaporkan peristiwa mengerikan ini ke Polres Kampar untuk menuntut keadilan. “Berdasarkan laporan keluarga, kami langsung bergerak cepat melakukan penyelidikan ke TKP. Selanjutnya, kami juga mengumpulkan keterangan dari sejumlah saksi dan memeriksa rekaman CCTV di sekitar lokasi,” jelas Gian tentang langkah awal penyidikan.
Yang mengejutkan, penyelidikan tim polisi berjalan sangat efektif. Hanya dalam waktu kurang dari 24 jam, mereka berhasil mengidentifikasi dan menangkap pelaku. Tepatnya pada Jumat (12/12/2025) dini hari, polisi mengepung rumah Balis Saputra yang hanya berjarak sekitar 2 kilometer dari tempat kejadian perkara. Namun, momen penangkapan ini justru berubah menjadi mencekam! Begitu petugas mendatangi, pelaku malah melakukan perlawanan sengit. Dengan mata penuh amarah, Balis Saputra malah mengarahkan pisau belatinya ke arah petugas yang hendak menangkapnya. Melihat ancaman yang membahayakan jiwa, polisi tidak punya pilihan lain. Akhirnya, petugas terpaksa memberikan tindakan tegas dengan menembak kaki kiri pelaku untuk melumpuhkan dan mencegahnya melukai lebih banyak orang. “Karena pelaku melawan dan membahayakan keselamatan petugas, kami terpaksa mengambil tindakan tegas yang diperlukan,” papar Gian tegas. Selama pemeriksaan, terkuaklah kesadisan rencana pelaku. Rupanya, korban telah ia intai dan tunggu di jalan yang biasa dilalui untuk narik becak. Pada Rabu malam sekitar pukul 20.00 WIB itu, begitu melihat Yapitri lewat, nafsu membunuh Balis Saputra langsung meledak. Dengan gerakan cepat, ia langsung melompat dan menghujamkan pisau belati berulang kali ke tubuh korban yang tak berdaya.
Secara keseluruhan, kasus ini menyisakan duka mendalam bagi keluarga Yapitri yang kehilangan tulang punggung. Di sisi lain, pelaku yang digerakkan oleh cemburu buta sekarang harus menghadapi dua konsekuensi: luka tembak di kakinya dan jeruji besi yang menunggu di penjara.
