Chocolatier asal Belgia, Tucho Chocolate, pertama kali membuat cokelat rambut nenek. Mereka mengisi cokelat dengan pişmaniye, yaitu permen khas Turki yang menyerupai kapas. Kini, gerai cokelat di Indonesia mulai menawarkan varian ini. Xiyue menjadi merek pertama di Indonesia yang menghadirkan cokelat rambut nenek.

Jajanan Nostalgia yang Kembali Populer

Johan, marketing Xiyue, mengatakan bahwa tren cokelat Dubai menginspirasi mereka untuk menciptakan cokelat rambut nenek. Menurutnya, jajanan ini membawa kenangan bagi banyak orang karena rambut nenek pernah populer pada tahun 90-an.

Xiyue menghadirkan cokelat rambut nenek dengan sentuhan lokal. Mereka menggunakan bahan-bahan khas Indonesia agar sesuai dengan selera masyarakat.

Eksklusif Tersedia di Sarinah

Saat ini, Xiyue hanya menjual cokelat rambut nenek di gerainya di Sarinah. Johan menyebutkan bahwa mereka ingin melihat respons pasar sebelum memperluas distribusi.

Sejak peluncurannya pada 14 Maret 2025, cokelat rambut nenek langsung diserbu pembeli. Antusiasme yang tinggi membuat stok cepat habis. Meskipun bulan puasa, banyak orang tetap rela antre untuk mendapatkannya.

Pembeli Rela Antre Berjam-jam

Banyak pelanggan harus menunggu hingga tiga jam untuk mendapatkan cokelat rambut nenek. Gerai Xiyue memberlakukan sistem waiting list. Pelanggan mencatat nama mereka, lalu kembali untuk mengambil pesanan saat cokelat tersedia.

Karena tingginya permintaan, Xiyue membagi pemesanan dalam dua kloter. Setiap harinya, mereka menjual sekitar 300 potong cokelat rambut nenek.

“Kami tidak menyangka responsnya sebesar ini. Dalam satu kloter, sekitar 150 potong langsung habis,” kata Johan.

Dua Varian dengan Harga Terjangkau

Xiyue menawarkan cokelat rambut nenek dalam dua varian, yaitu cokelat original dan cokelat putih. Setiap potong dijual dengan harga Rp 38.000.

Cokelat original menggunakan campuran milk chocolate dan dark chocolate. Rasanya manis dengan sedikit pahit khas cokelat hitam. Isiannya berupa rambut nenek berwarna merah dan hijau yang langsung lumer di mulut.

Varian white chocolate memiliki rasa lebih manis dan creamy. Cokelat putihnya berpadu dengan aroma vanilla yang kuat. Teksturnya lebih lembut dibandingkan varian original.

Dengan ukuran lebih besar dibandingkan cokelat Dubai, cokelat rambut nenek menawarkan sensasi unik yang membuat banyak orang penasaran.
